"Come on, it's your last night, we have to do something." Justin whined, trying to convince her to come with him.
"Justin, in my condition, a club would not be much fun." She instisted, stepping into a pair of shoes, certain he would win.
"Let me tie those." He bent down infront of her and pulled the strings across one another. "That too tight?" He looked up at her, and she shook her head to tell him it wasn't. When his eyes went back to their work, she silently cursed herself. Why did she have to want him to take her in his arms and kiss her like he had before?
"Let's go." She ordered walking toward the door, after giving the trailer one last look. That night she would be staying in the hotel the men were in, to give the new stylist a chance to move in.
"May I escort you?" He held his arm out for her playfully, as she took it.
"Of course. Justin, you have to promise me we will be back kind of early, so I can say good bye to all the guys."
"I promise you will get to say bye to them." He patted her arm where it overlapped his, then opened the door for her.
"Justin, can I tell you something?"
"Something else? I thought you had told me everything." He tried to make her smile.
"No really, I wanna thank you for telling the guys about my Mom." She laid her hand on his.
"JC told you didn't he? When I get my hands on him..."
"No, he didn't tell me, I figured it out on my own."
"Ok, understandable. But why thank me, I thought you would be mad." He put his free hand on top of her's, trapping her hand between his own.
"Well, this is going to sound crazy, but I wanted them to know, I just didn't want to tell them."
"I get it." He turned his bottom hand so that he was cupping her hand between his own.
"Justin.." She was interrupted when the car came to halt and Justin jumped from the car to open her door.
"Come on." He helped her from the car, then slid his hand across the top of her back, afraid to put it across the bottom.
"Are you sure they are open?" To be honest, she thought it was either closed, or a very boring place. There was no line, no noise coming from inside, and most importantly no lights to be seen. Justin wordlessly led her into the club and down a dark hallway, to where a bouncer stood.
"Mr. Timberlake." Justin said, as the man checked a list then motioned him to continue into the main room.
"Babe, I mean Justin, aren't you going to go in?" He had stopped short of a red curtian, that she guessed led to the main room.
"I thought I could have a minute alone with you first." He pulled her in for a hug. "I am going to miss you. But hey WE'RE HERE!" He yelled trying to get her excited.
"Yeah, we are, but I'm afraid if you plan on standing here all night. I'll have to insist we leave."
"OK, look who changed her mind about going to the club." He opened the curtian to reveal the guys, standing in the midst of every crew member.
"SURPRISE!" They yelled as soon as she could see them.
"Oh my god!" She ran to them, or at least walked as fast as she could, hugging each one in turn. "I can't believe ya'll did this for me."
"I helped." Justin said from behind her in a playful whine.
"I know!" She turned and hugged him, quickly withdrawing to avoid the want to kiss him.
"How about a drink?" JC pulled her to the bar, then turned to her for her specification.
  "Shirley Temple."
"Come on, it's your last night, have some fun."
  "Well, what's good?"
"I'll order you something." He turned away from her as Justin snuck up behind her, which just didn't seem to surprise her anymore.
"Mind if I steal your lady?" Justin waved to JC as he pulled Jaden away from him.
"He was getting me a drink." She protested, as he pulled her toward a pool table.
"He'll bring it to you, can you play?" He pointed to the table.
"Maybe not as well as usual, but I sure can try."
"Good I'm ready to beat your ass." He wracked the balls, pausing momentarily to wink at her.
"Mind to put some money where your mouth is?" She pulled a stick down from it's place, rubbing the end with chalk.
"No I say we wager something besides money. If I win you have to come back as soon as you are healed and be my personal assistant. I've been wanting one anyway."
"Ok, but if I win, you...I don't know."
"You'll think of something, I am going to break."
"Make him your slave." JC put an arm with her drink around her waist for her to take.
"That's a good idea." She pulled the drink from his hand, and took a sip. "Is there alcohol in this?"
  "Yeah."
"Hmm, can't taste it." She took another sip, then set it down to take her shot. Four drinks and thirty minutes later, Justin sank the eight ball into the corner pocket.
"I win!" He stuck his tongue out at her as he rounded the table to hug her.
"Ok, I can do the personal assistant thing, but for now I am going to find JC." She kissed his cheek and left the room, leaving him to contimplate how much he would miss her.
"I see you liked my choice." JC pointed to the glass in her hand, proving his point.
  "Yeah, I love this."
"How many have you had?" He steadied her rocking figure, chuckling at her.
"Only a few." She set her drink on a nearby table and pulled to JC to the dance floor.
"Want to dance?" He teased as she slid her arms around his neck.
"Yeah, I've been waiting for a slow song all night. I'm afraid it's the only thing I can dance to."
"Well, I'm glad I was the closest to you."
"You think I chose you cause you were the closest?" She winked, knowing he got the joke.
  "Jaden, where's Justin?"
"I think he's still in the pool room."
"So who won? Is he your slave?"
"If he was don't you think I would have him working?"
"So you are going to rejoin the tour?"
"Yeah, I let him win so I could." She popped her neck, playfully acting smooth.
"Well, it was a good idea, I can't wait for you to come back." He guided her head onto his shoulder.
"JC, I am going to miss ya'll."
"We'll miss you, too." He rubbed her back, thankful for at least one moment alone with her.
