| "Wake up, sleepyhead." She greeted, shaking him lightly to pull him from his slumber. "Let me sleep." He whined, pulling a pillow over his head in refusal. "No, come on it's already eleven." "But I want to sleep late." "So did I but I already took a shower, fed Colton, helped the maids..." "You helped them?" "Yeah, I couldn't just stand there while they cleaned." "Are they still here?" "No they've been gone for about a half an hour." She said looking at her watch to make sure she was correct. "Did you pay them?" He asked concerned, pulling the pillow from his face to meet her eyes. "Yeah." "I was going to pay for that." He explained, pulling himself into a sitting position. "Don't worry, they cleaned my house." "Yeah, but it was my mess. Let me get my wallet." "Don't worry, I'll just put it on your tab." She settled onto one corner of the bed, watching him. "Ok but I am paying it back." "Oh guess what?" "I need a shower?" He looked down at his body then the bathroom door. "Well yeah, that and my party is in two more days." "Oh yeah it's Thursday, huh?" "Yeah and I don't have to work today!!" "You never have to work, you just choose to." "I'd be bored if I didn't." "Not anymore, I'll keep you company now." "True, but I'm not abondoning my daycare." "Ok, I'm going to run home and get some clothes. I'll be back in a bit. I'm sure your brother would like to wear his clothes once he gets here." "Oh yeah, good idea, get plenty of extras, I'm going to do his laundry while you are gone." "Plenty of extras, huh?" "Yeah you have to stay while my brother is here. I want you two to get to know each other." "Ok, I will. I'll get some for Colton, too. Where is he?" "He's playing video games, he's already had a bath." "Ok then, I'll take the long trip by myself." He laughed, then remembered she didn't know where he lived. "Oh yeah, I live three houses down." "Really? I'm surprised I never saw you before." "I was surprised I had never seen you, too." "What weirdos we are, living so close then never knowing eachother." "Yeah well I am going to go, bye bye." He kissed her and hopped from the bed. He stopped to inspect himself at the door, looking down at his sweatpants and wife beater. Finally deciding he looked fine to take the short trip to his house, he turned to leave the room. "Bye, see you." Then he was gone. She gathered the dirty clothes while she marveled at the fact they had only known each other three days. It had seemed like so many more. She threw the clothes into the washing machine, then busied herself until twelve. At twelve she threw the clothes into the dryer then made lunch. "Where's Justin?" Colton looked up at her from where he was playing video games. "He ran home, to get ya'll some clothes." "Oh, ok." "Here have some lunch." She handed him the plate she had put a sandwhich and handful of chips on. "Will you eat with me?" "Of course I will. If you come to the table." "OK." He hopped up and followed her to the kitchen, after he had turned off the video game. They ate in silence until Justin walked in, when Colton ran to him and jumped into his waiting arms. Justin carried him with him to Tiffany's side, where he quickly gave her a kiss. "Your lunch is in the fridge." She told him as he sat Colton down in his seat. "Sorry it took me so long, there were some fans in my yard. I had a little bit of trouble getting inside. I had to wait for security to come shoo them away before I dared to go back into the yard. One of them keyed her number into my car." He said a little upset. "Oh that's horrible." Tiffany gasped, standing to check him for any apparent damage. "Mike, my bodyguard, is taking it to the paint shop now. I brought my Accord." He explained, taking a seat after she was done looking him over. "You wrote down the number first, right?" Tiffany teased, trying to lighten his mood. "Yeah, but I'm not going to call her until after you go to bed." "Good idea that way I don't know." "Are you his girlfriend?" Colton asked looking at Tiffany but pointing at Justin. She wasn't sure how to answer him, they had never discussed it and Justin had never called her his girlfriend. "If she wants to be, I'd love it." Justin saved her, then she nodded her head in agreement. "Well then I guess so." He added smiling, then leaned over to her and kissed her before saying thank you. "For what?" "Saying yes." He threw her an award winning smile, then heard a car pull into the driveway. Colton obviously heard it to, for he was running to inspect. "There's a long car here!" He yelled referring to the limo. By the time Justin and Tiffany made it to the living room, Colton was in Joey's arms while he swung him in circles. "Oh I missed you so much. It's so good to see you. I love you." She squeeled, running to his arms while he set Colton on the ground. "I love you, too." He swung her in a quick circle, then set her down, noticing Justin. "Hi I'm Joseph." "Hi, I'm Justin." They shook hands as Tiffany watched Joey look him over quickly. "His name is Joey." She teased, pushing Joey toward the couch. "That sounds too childish, only certian people can call me that, you can." He said looking at Justin, then turned to Tiffany. "So when did you start rubbing elbows with celebs?" |
