"Have you thought about it?" JC entered her office, taking a seat.
"Yeah, and I still haven't come to a conclusion." She pushed the tray containing her keyboard back under the desk, ready to give JC her full attention.
"Brianne, it's completely up to you, I'll just leave you with something to think about." His something to think about was another kiss.
"Josh, you have to stop doing that. I can barely think of my address let alone starting a relationship when you do that."
"I'll take that as a complement." He ducked out of her office before she had a chance to retaliate.
"You better baby, because that's the way I meant it." She called after him, hoping he would hear, instead Justin, who happened to be walking by, heard.
"Meant what?" He propped himself on the desk, which she had to admit was starting to get less irritating every time he did it.
  "Meant it as a complement."
"Meant what as a complement?" Justin quirked his head to the side, wondering if she was always so difficult.
"That Josh is a good kisser."
"I didn't want to hear that." He jumped from the desk, then ran from the room in an over exaggerated manner. Seconds later she heard the studio door open and Justin yell 'Brianne thinks JC's a good kisser'. She giggled to herself despite of the fact she really shouldn't have let Justin run around screaming about her personal life where she worked.
"Aaaww." All the men looked to JC for an explaination, while Justin took a seat for the news also.
  "We kissed end of story."
"So we know she thinks you're a good kisser, what about her?" Chris raised his eyebrows with an almost devilish grin on his face.
"I refuse to tell you that she is a twenty on a scale from one to ten." JC smirked while he pulled his headphones over his head to end the conversation.
"I want a kiss, too." Joey fake pouted as he too pulled his headphones on.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Ready for the work out of your life?" Justin led her into the now familar work out room, pulling two bottles of water from a miniature refridgerator in the room.
"Of my life? You aren't that tough baby." She settled herself on the treadmill, not ready to run yet.
  "You better believe I am."
"I believe, I believe." She threw her hands up in defeat, letting her eyes roam over him while her next question stuck in her throat.
"What?" Justin asked from the weight bench he was straddling, rearranging the weights.
"Why me Justin? I mean, there are plenty of girls that would be more than willing to work out with you. Why always me?"
"Your always available?" He turned his face from her gaze, steadying his nerves.
"Justin, I know that's not why, and so do you."
"The curls, it's the curls." He kept his face turned from her, causing her to round the bench he was occupying, finally settling on the floor before him.
"What about them?" She pulled at one subconsiously, not sure what cosmic power it held to make Justin want to work out with her.
"You have curls and so do I." He paused, not sure he wanted to fully explain, but knowing he should. "Your the sister I never got to have. I just saw you that first day, and it was like wow. You have curls in the same shade as mine and blue eyes. It just kind of draws me to you."
"Sister, huh? I like the ring of that. I never had a brother, would you be my stand in?" She set her hands on his knees, letting the prospects of Justin being her brother sink in.
  "I would love to."
"Great, now my slave driver, I mean personal trainer, is going to make me work out. See ya later, bubba." She left him to lift weights while she thought of how incredibly touching Justin's words had been. The old saying you can't pick your family ran through her head as she thought of how her and Justin had done just that. Nearly two hours later she was entering her house, her head still swimming from the conversation with Justin.
"Hi, I have to tell you something." She greeted JC, who had barely been able to say hello before being bombarded.
"Is it bad?" JC let himself sink into a chair, clutching the phone for dear life.
"No not at all. You won't believe what Justin told me today."
"Brianne, spit it out, you are killing me."
"Ok, so I went to work out with Justin today, and we were about to start when I asked him why he always chose me to work out with him." She paused, trying to organize the thoughts before she recounted the story.
"What did he say?" JC nearly shouted into the phone, letting Justin's possible answers run through his head.
"OK, so he told me that I looked so similar to him it made him feel like I was the sister he never had." She squeeled still basking in the fact Justin had said it.
"He did? I don't get it." JC scratched his chin, not sure why someone saying they looked similar would be so exciting.
"All sentiment is lost on you. It was more the way he said it not what he said. I think his exact words were 'the sister I never got to have'." She mocked Justin's sad tone from when the words had first hit her, causing JC to gasp.
"I get it! I get it!"
  "Finally, you see how.."
"His Mom lost a baby girl when he was younger. The sister he never got to have, he sees that in you." JC interrupted, thinking she should know the whole story.
"Oh my word. I never knew." Nearly whispering the last few words, she listened as JC's breath hit the phone.
"Wow, that's so just, it's not."
"I know exactly what you mean." She held the phone tighter, not sure she would ever be able to pry it from her hands.
"Brianne, what did you say to him?"
"I told him I never had a brother and I would love for him to be my stand in. Justin is now officially my brother."
"So he agreed?" JC was becoming more and more absorbed by the story, his heart rate jumping.
"Yeah, and by the way I thought about it. I don't think the look alike thing will be a problem at all."
"Huh?" JC thought over the words once more, finally the meaning hit him. "Oh, oh, so we're on for Saturday?"
"Of course, Josh. Did you ever think I'd be able to resist that kiss?"
