| "Hey you and Jaden make up?" JC followed Justin into the bus, trying to shed at least a little light on the situation. "Yeah, luckily she forgave me." Justin sat at the table to search through the goodies he had obtained. "So why is she so nervous around you?" JC joined his friend at the table, dumping the plastic bag that held his purchases onto the table. "I dunno, I guess because she doesn't completely trust me yet." Justin opened his refreshment, took a sip, and looked up at his friend. "Why?" "Just wondering. She is a very important part of the team, we can't lose another stylist." He stood to leave, then decided to look back. "Johnny should know you guys made up, he was concerned." "I'll talk to him tomorrow." Justin assured, contimplating the idea of running to Jaden's bus before the drivers left the truck stop. Hopping from his seat, and yelling to JC that he was going to Jaden's bus, he ran out the door and to Jaden's. Justin found Jaden asleep and thought of going back to his bus, then decided against it. He made his way to the couch and gently rocked her silently. "Not again, JC. I don't care where we are, go away!" She rolled over, or at least tried, then she discovered she was on the couch. "Hey, it's me, aren't we grouchy in the morning." Chuckles were all she heard for quite a few seconds, then felt she had to look up to see his smile. Peeking her eyes from under the blanket, she looked up at him. "It's not even morning." She pulled herself up into a sitting position, then pet the area next to her for Justin to sit down. "I was talking to JC and I was wondering something." "Then why didn't you ask him?" Letting the sleepiness wash over her, she laid her head on his shoulder. "Cause, he doesn't know the answer." "Ok, what do you want to know?" He pulled her into a sitting position so that he could look her in the eyes. "Do I make you nervous?" She knew she had to tell the truth. "A little, but you understand right?" "Cause we had that fight, right?" He knew right away that wasn't the whole reason. "What else?" "Well," she didn't know how to say it, so she paused, and stood to walk a few feet away from him. "You-we kissed." She closed her eyes, afraid of his reaction. Instead of what she expected, he laughed, he had worried for nothing. He thought she didn't like him, that she didn't want to be around him. "Is that all?" What was with these men? Is that all? It was a kiss! "I am going to get some sleep." She tried to make it to the bedroom without another word said but Justin was too quick. He ran to block her path, grabbing her shoulders to keep her in place. "No, I didn't mean what you think I did. I meant that I thought it was something else." "What did you think it was?" She walked toward him, causing him to take a step backwards. "I thought you hadn't forgiven me." He took a few more steps back, until he hit the door to the salon. She liked having the upper hand, and seeing him nervous as she had been so many times. "Why are you nervous, Justin?" "Because you aren't acting normal, you aren't this pushy." He turned the doorknob and pushed the door open with his hip. "Well this is how I act when I'm not nervous." She took a few more steps, flipping the light switch as she walked by. "Well, I like it." He took a few steps around her, backing her into the wall, hoping to cause her to be nervous instead of himself. "I'm glad you do, but I really have to get some sleep." She tried to get away from him but he took another step forward, pushing his body against hers. "I'm not making you nervous am I?" Suddenly, the game of who could make who nervous was seeming slightly appealing. "Not at all." She licked her lips slowly, before putting her hands on the front of his shoulders, pushing him back into the styling chair. She bent down until her lips were inches from his ear. "I'm going to get into my pajamas." She whispered before leaving the room in favor of her own. "Meet me at the couch." She yelled from the other side of the door, and he obeyed. She emerged from the room in an oversized Tshirt and a pair of pajama bottoms much to his surprise. "Hello." Justin cleared his throat as she joined him on the couch. "How about some Nick at Nite?" She grabbed the remote, turning her attention away from him. "What?" "What? Aren't you supposed to act like nothing happened after something like that?" Finally she was getting him back for the other night, and acting innocent the whole time. "Something like what? Like this?" Of course he would foil her plan by kissing her like she had never been kissed. After he was done, she stood, stumbled a few feet back, and licked her lips. "I-I-I.." Justin stood, making it to her side in one step. "Your not sorry again." He ordered pulling her hands into his, gently kissing the back of each. "I know, I was going to say I want another." She raised her eyebrows, confident she had won the game. "Who am I to refuse you?" And he didn't refuse her, while he thought of how he would get her back. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?" Justin ran to catch up with Johnny, who was making his way to the VIP box. "Sure, what do you have on your mind?" Johnny came to halt. "I just wanted you to know Jaden and I made up, we are back on good terms." "That's great, her father was worried." Johnny turned and left, leaving Justin to run to the stage before he was to be on. "Hey I talked to Johnny." He stopped next to JC, waiting to run out onto the stage. "Good, you ready?" The other three men joined them, Chris looking slightly devious, even for him. The men huddled for a prayer despite thier urges to hold Chris down until he confessed. "Let's do this." Justin jumped up and down a few times to loosen his body and get his blood flowing. When the men came backstage Jaden was very surprised. "JC this didn't go with that outfit!" She pulled a piece of paper reading ugly off his back for him to see. "Chris!" All the men fell into fits of laughter as Chris stayed incredibly calm. "At least it wasn't glow in the dark!" He turned to the clothes shelf, leaving JC to think of a way to get back at him. Jaden and JC had already planned to get Joey on their next day off, Justin was out to get Jaden, and now JC had to get Chris. The tour was becoming brighter everyday. With pranks going back and forth, Jaden wasn't sure she'd be able to keep up. Luckily Chris hadn't gotten her, yet. |
