| "Hello Ms. Tiffany." Mrs. Reed greeted, settling herself into the chair. "Hello, how can I help you?" "I just wanted to come down and apologize in person." "That wasn't necassary." "Yes it was. You didn't deserve the stress I gave you." "No it's no problem." "Well I also wanted to tell you Julie will be attending the party." "Great, we will have so much fun." "I'll be there." Justin chimed in, wanting to be part of the conversation. "Yeah Mrs. Reed this is my date for the night." Tiffany said shyly, as she extended a hand to refer to Justin. "That explains why you were goofing off when I walked in." Mrs. Reed giggled, looking over Justin quickly. "You noticed?" Tiffany asked astnoished. "I have children." Mrs. Reed exclaimed, causing Justin and Tiffany to laugh. "But don't worry, I understand, your secret is safe with me." "Oh guess who will be at the party?" "Who?" Mrs. Reed asked intriqued, certain Tiffany would have something good up her sleeve. "My brother." "Oh really? Julie will be so happy." "I want it to be a surprise for all the kids though." "I understand, my lips are sealed." "Thank you." "Well I am going to get Julie." She excused herself, as she shook Justin's hand once more before he joined Tiffany. "She was pretty cool about me and you." "Yeah all the parents of my kids are pretty cool. They bring thier kids to a daycare named Tiffany's Terrors for Pete's sake." "That's true. What gave you the idea for the name? If you don't mind me asking." "On Halloween at a daycare I used to work at I had all the kids draw pictures of what they were going to be for Halloween. I put them all on the wall and above them I wrote Ms. Tiffany's Terrors. It had a nice ring to it so it stuck in my mind. When I bought this place it was the first thing that popped into my mind. And that is the great mystery behind Tiffany's Terrors." "That's quite a story." "Yeah I know." "Well the chinese won't be here for another hour. What do you want to do until then?" "I don't know. You have any ideas?" "One." "What is it?" "We could uuummm you know a lil nookie." He playfully winked at her, gauging her reaction. "I was serious." "Oh. Sorry." "No it was cute the way you said that." "Well we could..." "Play video games!" She interupted, not sure he would have a serious suggestion. "Where?" "Right here." She lead him to a couple of chairs in the corner. He sat down while she opened a door to reveal a television and nintendo, then turned on all of the equipment. "Super Mario 3?" "Yeah I love this game. It's the only game I have ever beaten." She said proudly, selecting the two player option. "Ok but prepare to be beaten." He playfully rolled his neck, then watched as she began the first level. "Oh no you should prepare yourself." She said matter of factly as she manuevered the man on the screen. "It's on!" He retorted playfully, watching as she jumped on a turtle. "So sure of yourself? It's going to be sad when I beat you." "You think so huh?" "I know so." She laughed an evil laugh playfully, then lost herself in the game. Soon Lucy was calling her on the intercom to inform her that the delivery man had arrived. "Yeah." "The chinese is here." "Send him in." She walked over to the door to greet him, then led him in and walked over to her desk. Obtaining her purse, she let her eyes meet his. "How much do I owe you?" "No I am going to pay for it." Justin instisted, pulling his wallet from his back pocket. "It'll be fifty-two thirty-six, for whoever wants to pay." The delivery man announced, enjoying the scene taking place before him. "I am getting it." Justin repeated, already pulling money from his wallet. "Fine with me." Tiffany said impressed with his eagerness to pay, as he handed the man eighty dollars. "Keep the change for your trouble." "Why thank you." "No thank you." The man walked out of the room with a huge smile on his face. "That was nice of you." Tiffany said very impressed at that point. "I told you I am a nice person. You just didn't want to believe me." "Let's hand out these lunches before everyone comes banging at the door for thiers." They successfully gave all the teachers thier lunches, as Justin convinced them all it was his treat. They began to eat while happily talking about the boss's new boyfriend, once he was out of earshot, of course. Justin and Tiffany finally made it back to her office, to sit down and eat thier own lunches. "You want to go home after naptime is over?" Tiffany questioned Justin, looking at him over her feet that were propped on the desk. "Sure what's the occasion?" "I just wanna get things picked up for Joey, that's my bubba." "I figured that much. But yeah that's fine, will you need our help?" "If ya'll want to." "Of course we will. Colton would do anything you said." "I wouldn't take it that far." "I would." |
