The thing is, there's a lot more to me than GID (Gender Identity Disorder). I'm a musician with many years of music, sound, and electronics experience (see "My Music"). I'm an accomplished cook with 18 years of restaurant work in my resume. And recently I've broken into retail porn (I now work at the local adult book store). This may not seem to be the brightest move, but there's one industry that will always exist and even at few hours and low pay, I'm getting the experience needed to move on to much bigger things in the future. And besides, I kinda like the job. It has the same social aspect karaoke DJing did without the annoying kiddies.
I'm becoming quite good with Adobe Photoshop and beginning to learn a bit with Premier. What this is all leading up to is me being able to do multimedia seamlessly with my art and my music. I'm hoping at some point to incorporate all of this into live shows, but we'll see. Maybe I'll just make internet porn! ;-)
I'm an avid gamer. It started many years ago ('79) with Dungeons & Dragons and progressed to video games. I seriously hate console systems, but PC games? Oh yeah! Recently I've been playing a lot of a Diablo II mod called "Eastern Sun" (refer to links page again). It's everything a second expansion should have been if Blizzard games hadn't sold out and made World Of Warcraft. I'm also a big fan of well-done sci-fi and fantasy shows. Some favorites include Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, and Fifth Element. I'm also very well read, including the classics and various religious texts.
I'm very outspoken about religion and politics. Atheist and Anarchist/Libertarian. Yeah. Debate me. Good luck. I firmly believe in the constitution and feel both major political parties are trying to shred parts of it. I also believe that organized religion can and has been a bigger force of evil than any fascist dictator or communist leader. Religion should be about lifting people up, not grinding those down that you don't like. On that note, I fully support gay marriage. Why the hell not? Who could it possibly hurt? I also deeply believe in the separation of church and state, including in the white house and our schools.
Not personal enough? I'm married. Yes to a woman, and yes, we're staying married whatever happens. She has 2 teenagers and I have 3 younger children. I even have an evil zealot of an ex-wife to call my own. How lucky am I? </sarcasm> I own my own home and we have a very cool car (and it rocks on gas milage too!). We live in cornfield hell Clinton IA and dream of finding the yellow brick road someday to lead us back to Denver CO. Other personal stuff: Yes, I'm on hormones and yes they have had major influences on my physical and mental attributes (you figure it out).
