Usually an email like this would be on the updates page, but I wanted this one to stand out so as many people as possible know about this!!!

We just got a call today to let us know that Old Navy and a radio station are putting together a softball benefit in honor of Justin. I am not sure how this came about and I want to thank whoever is involved. When I hear more of the details I will let all of you know. So far they are saying that the benefit is on Thurs September 7th around 7pm in the middletown athletic fields Thanks again for all of your support *small update on Justin he is still having plenty of nose bleeds whenever he takes his chemo however they are more controlled and he took 10 STEPS today all by himself and he is walking around more holding someones hand. SUMMER OF PST
WPST - 97.5 is the radio station that will be having the Benefit Softball Game against the employees of 3 Old Navy Stores (thanks to one of Bill's relatives). Well, I decided to tune in today. They are currently advertising a game that will be played next Tuesday in Bensalem.
While listening, I heard them offer an Auction of a chance to play on their team. Bids started at $50 and the highest offer won. Well, the one offer they mentioned was a woman offering $500. Then, I know that Dawn mentioned that there would be a bake sale and raffles, etc. at Justin's game on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7. Well, the raffle they have going next Tuesday is for front row concert tickets...... I'm assuming they will do the same type of things the week prior to Justin's game. This truly is a wonderful surprise! They play music geared to the younger set but I think I can "deal" withit.
So - if you live in the area, please tune in! Also, if at all possible, we'd love to see you at the game!

~*From RAch*~ I think the game they are currently advertizing is a softball game agains the boy band LFO. I also heard this advertized (how wonderful it is to have the radio on the net!) and saw it on the wpst website while looking for info! I don't believe the LFO game and Justins game are related. *~*~*

Plans are underway for our Beef N Beer for Friday, October 6, 2000 at the German Hungarian Club on Bristol Road in Oakford, PA. Flyers, tickets and chance tickets have been printed and only need to be distributed and sold. At the present time, we are not planning on selling tickets at the door. If you are planning on attending, please plan to purchase your ticket in advance. The Hall can accomodate 400 people so we can sell a lot more tickets than we did for the Bowlling Party (which was a great success) but the early chatter indicates that these tickets will sell out as fast as the Bowling Tickets did. We have the DJ lined up and Dave Adams' Race Car will be on display. Some of the Hooters' Girls will also be there for your viewing pleasure (if that's what you're in to).
See you at the Game!
Love, Mom-Mom Mancini
