While on the run, The A-Team hired themselves out to anybody in need, whether it was an innocent town being bullied by gangmembers, or a man whose daughter had been kidnapped. They charged a large fee for their services, but they always came through. In many of the episodes, they were not hired, but instead helped out a friend or family member that was in danger.
The A-team was constantly running from the Military Police that had been looking for them for ten years, and as a result the Military Police would often get themselves in trouble with the very same criminals that The A-Team was trying to shut down. The A-Team always managed to foil the criminal's plans and keep the Military Police out of danger, as well as escape.
The A-Team (which stands for Alpha) were trained and highly skilled in weaponry and hand-to-hand combat. They used AR-15s and 9mm pistols and many other types of guns,
