Our most recent visit was with Michelle's parents. They were impressed with the scanning equipment! As dad said, 'We never had anything like that.' Bambino is continuing to grow at the right pace. The doctor was pleased with its development. The
first scan from this session again shows Bambino from the top (or Michelle's side) it is a similar one to the second scan from last week, perhaps a better quality (and an extra month's growth). I've been scrolling between the two pictures to compare, amazing.The
second scan from this session shows Bambino on its tummy. Its legs are visible in the bottom right. Interestingly, by measuring the thighbone, the doctor was able to work out Bambino's age, and due date. They were spot on! The spine is distinct. He also confirmed that the bladder was visible. Together with the stomach that we were able to see, means that Bambino's digestive system is beginning to function. Bearing in mind that Bambino will save all its waste for after it's born, I guess we've seen the contents of our first diaper...It is always a pleasure and relief to see Bambino, both to reassure ourselves that everything is on track and all right; and to build a relationship. Although we have been talking to Bambino, to see it and interact with it, watch it wave, kick, even see it's heart beat.
