The Atlanteans were very powerfull mainly because of a large crystal they had. There were many uses for this cystal, it controlled transportation, had the power to destroy people and other civilizations, and it could heal people. They controlled the power of it by using the sun to hit a cerain spot on the crystal and conducting power in a certain way. The Crystal also had the ability to grow plants and medicines. There were more than one crystal though. They had one main crystal and many lesser power crysyals.
