This event went much better than planned. There was much nervousness to begin with - lots of people bailed at the last minute and we were worried we wouldn't fill up. Then we thought we might not have enough escorts. Both theories turned out to be wrong, as this first shot at Windurst Eco-Warrior went almost flawlessly. (That one flaw being Palidor's unfortunate but noble death - he was the tank who activated the battle for us.)

Our original plan called for us to have the black mages sleep two of the flies while the group attacked the third all at once, with 2-hours being used at appropriate times.

Everyone stayed together on the way down to the battle, just as planned, and our escorts did a great job of clearing a path for us and picking off any mob who dared aggro us. Many thanks, guys!

Our plan to sleep two of the flies went straight out the door when Deevo unleashed Shiva and Astral Flow. Turns out Diamond Dust is AOE - oops. But that was perhaps the best mistake/discovery possible, as Diamond Dust dealt massive damage, killing the first fly and seriously wounding the other two. Everyone jumped in and attacked the remaining flies, and the battle was over within seconds, much to our surprise!

At first it looked like we weren't going to have enough people for a full alliance, so we decided to get two summoners to join the group. Best idea imaginable. Just like last time, the Wyrmflies were dead within seconds. Easy as (rolanberry) pie.

Garrison was great fun. Terrifying at times, but great fun. We did it twice, successful only at having a good time. Unfortunately, I was too nervous, too occupied, or too dead to take pictures of the battle happening, so please send me any pictures you took during the event!
