Well imagine my surprise when James walked out on stage and the first thing out of Tim’s mouth was "Hi, we’re James and we’re from the planet FUCK!" HOLY SHIT what did he just say?! Is this the same man who once exhorted an audience to please throw teddy bears instead of shoes? Was this the same man, who told an interviewer in Toronto he felt that for James to be powerful on stage they also had to be vulnerable? Yes and no. Here’s my theory, Lollapalooza has corrupted our Timothy. All the Tool, Korn and Prodigy has awakened his latent machismo which was already stirring from spending too much time in Brooklyn with that Italian dude, Angelo. You haven’t noticed a changed attitude in the once quiet and vulnerable singer? Well check it out....

Ahh Tim. You know we only notice these things because we love you so much. Newly acquired crassness and Lollapalooza theatrics aside, Tim can still win over an audience like nobody in the world. Despite any poses assumed in self-defense from shit-tossing Korn fans, we appreciate Tim’s warmth and sincerity, his love of life and his inner beauty and we look forward to seeing him healed and ready to dance his legs down to the knees sometime in the near future. |
