We've finally uploaded a new section called James: Under Cover which contains cover versions of James songs by unsigned bands. And a couple of them are damn good too! We've also included original tracks by these bands, so if you like cover, you can get a taste of what else they can do. If you have a band and would like to be included, drop us an email at [email protected].
In November, Virgin Press will release an official James biography written by Stuart Maconie. To see a picture of the cover click here. Keep checking back with us for a review as the release date approaches.
Issue 12 of Change of Scenery is now available. For information on how to receive your very own copy, check out the Change of Scenery website at http://www.changeofscenery.co.uk.
One Fan are currently looking for unsigned bands' covers of James' songs. If your band has recorded an UNRELEASED cover version (i.e. we're not looking to get sued for copyright violation) of a James or Booth & the Band Angel song and would like some exposure on the web, send us either an MP3 of the song and some information about your band, or email about where to send tapes/CD's and we'll make the MP3's ourselves. Bands who send a James cover may also send one other ORIGINAL song which we will also make available for download. All in all, you can't lose - we get a great new section and you get exposure for your UNSIGNED band! Send all correspondence to [email protected].
