We Love the Money Girls!!!

There's just something about leather clad women dancing
to the grooving beats created by some of our favorite people.

See, even Jim Glennie can't
keep his eyes off of this girl

Can you blame him?

Notice our hero in the background.
I wonder who he's looking at?

For those of you who don't know, Money is a James side project featuring violinist Saul Davies, drummer David Baynton-Power, and keyboardist Mark Hunter, with occasional help from bassist Jim Glennie. Money was formed so that technobabes Saul, David and Mark could explore dance music; and it features Saul on vocals, Mark on synths, Dave on the turntables/drum machine/mixing desk, and Jim adding guitars on some tracks. An album is in the works and should be out before the end of the year, with a single preceding it, hopefully some time this fall.

These pictures were taken at Money's debut live performance on June 12, 1997, at the North by Northeast (NXNE) Music Festival and Conference in Toronto, Canada.

God, I love the Money Girls.
Maybe I can convince Jabba not to throw them to the Rancor.
