I am one of those people who hasnt a clue about computers, so now at a friends house i am finally able to see that i am not the only james fan out there, maybe just the only one in Arizona. I have been in love with the sound of tim's voice for the past s x years,and they are by far my favorite band. For the past four years I have not been able to sleep without a james cd playing(before that Morrissey could put me down to but lately it needs to be Tim)i haven't botten a cd that wasn't james in at least two years, and my roomate says that I am so obbessed that I am becoming a bore(thinking he could humor me with that reference)i feel that I don't even have the means to be obssessed when I live in arizona and there is nothing here but a record store with a fe mesely albums of theirs. I have never in my life actually seen a james t-shirt, a james poster, or anything that any truley obsessive fan should own. i was lucky enough to see the band during the lollapa...whatever tour, my only purpose for being there.. james. I met the members of James at Lolapalooza festival '96 in Toronto. I've known Michael-the newest member-for a number of years. I was introduced to the rest of them after the show and they were a lot of fun. We watched Tool perform from sidestage and later met with Orbital and Tricky whose trailers were next to theirs. I still see Michael at Christmas time for some drinks and chat. He is a really excellent guy and a very talented musician. The entire band is among one of the greatest!

Hi there, I was wondering if some fellow fans can help me. A few days ago I bought the James CD "One Man Clapping." I found it on ebay and payed $60.00 for it. When looking at the CD a little closer I began to wonder if it is an original. I think it might be a clever copy of the regular release. My reasons for suspicion are that the inserts for the CD were made in England, and the CD itself was made in France. On the back page of the insert it says "Made In England, Distributed by the Cartel." The word "Cartel" has some dubious undertones. Also, from my understanding, the CD was released on "Rough Trade Records." I do not see the words "Rough Trade" anywhere on the CD or the inserts. Please compare it to your copy and let me know if I have been ripped off. The seller on ebay said it was an original and official CD. Thanks for your help, Joshua W. Ruppert

I'm trying to obtain a copy of a James single from many years ago.....It was a flexi-single ,given away with a music mag, entitled "Weather Change"...I lost my copy some years ago and since then have been desperately searching record fairs for another cop ...Can anyone HELP???? If you have never heard this single, you have certainly missed out on one of James finest records............

I lived in England for 2 years and went to see James in Birmingham. Tim Booth is the best stage performer ever and not to mention.....very sexy!! I would love to see them again. I've got a T-shirt to remember them by.

james will be playing the soccer 6 again this year defending their title as 1998 champions (they beat everyone easily, beat blur 7-0 in the final) sat 29th may @ stamford bridge, london (chelsea's ground) check www.cup.uk.com for pictures of last year and of saul destroying cup in his backyard (they have to buy a new cup!)
