Adrian Oxaal was added to the James lineup following the departure of Larry Gott during the early recording sessions for Whiplash. Adrian, an old friend of Saul's, prior to joining James played in a band called Sharkboy, who released two albums on the Nude Records label. A song from Sharkboy can be found at the spin college radio program vault, if you scroll down to shows 19 & 20, at about 56 minutes into the program.
