| I purchased this Italian made scoot in Kentucky from a small dealer in Lexington in May of 2000. I had to put 300 miles on it before I could see what the little scoot could do. After a good break-in I let her rip! I could manage 48-50 mph on the flat and I weight 230 lbs! Not to shabby for a 50cc scoot that was bone stock. I was happy with the power for the next few rides and then I decided a big rider needs a little more power, so the next move was to hop up the SR to a 70 cc kit! Modifications made: * 70 CC Polini cylinder kit. * 17.5mm Dellorto carb (105 main jet) * 38 pilot jet * carb needle 2nd clip from the bottom (stock needle) * Unrestricted Intake Rubber (UK SPEC) * MK Handmade exhaust w/ Carbon Fiber Silencer * Top Performance CDI w/ Advanced keyway and varable timing with RPM. * 4.78g Roller Weights * Top Performance Front Variator (med thickness washer) * Top Performance Gear Kit 2.73 Final Drive Raito (Stock was 3.08 15/41) * Stock Aibox (2 3/8" and 1 1/4" holes drilled for correst air inflow) * yellow rear spring 22% heavier * Delta Race Clutch * Red Clutch Springs Performance as of 3-2-01 72mph top speed 70 mph on flat Great acceleration |
