| When hauling my scooter from place to place I like to make sure both ends are secure to my scooter rack. I never found a good place to hook off to at the rear of the SR50. One day I got to looking and found that there were two places in the main upper rear frame that had a nice holes already in the frame. I decided to install a round "eye bolt" in one of the two holes. I used a standard round "eye bolt" I think it was a 5/16".You can get this eye bolt from any hardware store for around $ 1.00- $2.00. The only modification I had to make was to the eye bolt itself. I had to cut off part of the threads to give the backside clearence against the plastic. Total install took about 30 minutes. Now when I haul my scooter it is much much easier to strap down at the rear. This is a very easy install to do. And the loop looks very factory and not very noticable at all. |
