| PART 6 Zander did what he told his father hed do, he took care of everything and made sure Alexis was going to show up at the restaurant on time. He hated lying to her after everything shes done for him over the years but knew in the long run shed thank him for it, or at least he hoped. Alexis walks into a small quiet restaurant, they are playing the most beautiful soft music. She cant help but look at all the art work hanging on the walls, its just breathtaking. Excuse Ms. Davis? The host asks. She nods her head. The gentlemen you are waiting for is running a little behind but wanted me to make sure you were well taken care of in his absences. Alexis looked a little confused, but went along with him. The host held out her chair for her as he called a waiter over to pour her a glass of there best red wine. I hope this will be to your liking. The host said handing her a glass. She looks up at him. I think theres a little misunderstanding here. He places the glass in front of her. Im suppose to be meeting a friend who needs my help, Im not on a date. He holds out a small but long black box. Your gentlemen friend wanted me to make sure you were wearing this when he got here. Really confused. I dont know whats going on here but I think you have me confused with somebody else. There is no confusion Ms. Davis. He opened the box revealing a gold chain with an elegant but simple charm on it that read #1 mommy Would you like me to help you put it on? A tear rolled down her check. Its beautiful. The gentlemen said its not nearly as beautiful as you and if you dont mind me saying hes right. The host helped her on with the necklace and then walked off. Alexis immediately found herself fidgeting with it. Quickly she become so lost in her thoughts that she almost didnt hear the violinist walk up to the table. He was playing a soft theme from an opera that her mother use to sing in. She was so overwhelmed but yet confused. As she breathlessly looked up at the man playing she felt something soft caress her neckline. Quickly she turned around and found Cameron with a single red rose standing there. Cameron placed the rose across her lips as she was about to say something. Tonight is our night Alexis. All you have to do is forget about everything outside the connection our eyes are holding on each other. He allows the rose to caress down the front of her chest as he bends down and kisses the top of her head. I thought I was meeting Zander for dinner. Cameron holds his hand out. May I please have this honor. Alexis looks around the room. You want to dance He takes her hand and pulls her to her feet. I want to hold you in my arms. He pulls her body close to his. Smell your hair He runs his fingers through her silky, soft, thick, hair and feel the beat of your chest against mine. Whispering in her ear. I want to experience the scent that is you. She pulls back and looks at him. Right here in the restaurant? He places his hand under her chin, pulling her lips close to his own. What I want to do is kiss you but I need to know your going to be alright with that. She can feel his hot breathe hit her face, travel down her lips and deep into her soul. Im scared. Just close your eyes she closes them. relax and get lost in the moment. His lips touch hers. She opens her eyes and pulls back. Cameron I want Shhhhhhh He whispers before hitting her lips against his. She could feel herself getting lost in the moment and it scared her. She wanted to pull back but just couldnt as she felt his tongue slid across her lips slowly entering her mouth. Immediately she allowed her tongue to intertwining with hers, she was completely lost now and he could feel it. Cameron stopped kisses her and their eyes meet briefly. She laid her head on his shoulder as he reached down and picked up the rose. They slowly started swaying their bodies to the music. I hope you arent mad at me for deceiving you the way I did. He ran the rose up and down her bare arm. But I knew youd never agree to have to dinner with me. She closes her eyes. Im not mad at you but I am mad at myself. Alexis believe it or not I know how you feel. Ive known you long enough to know that feeling, let alone sharing your feelings with anyone isnt something your use to. A waiter walks over and places appetizers on the table. I just cant afford to get hurt. Kisses the top of her head. I have no intention of hurting you Alexis. She looks up at him. Deep down I know thats true. Smiling Are you hungry? Shaking her head no. I like being in your arms. Holding her tighter. I love having you in them. Cameron. Yes Alexis. Im sorry about the other night. You have nothing to be sorry about. I ran away from you like a child. She tired to look up at him but he wouldnt let her. And worse yet Ive acted like one ever since. Your child like behavior is something I like about you. Oh yeah right you just love my tantrums and control freak actions. Since they are apart of who you are, yes I do. Laughing Of course it would be nicer if you didnt have one or the other every other minute of the day. Pulling her back to look at her. Id hate to see what happens when your PMSing. Hitting his chest. If you control like actions are an indication of how well you deal with being WRONG, then apparently you suffer from PMS every day. Smiling at her. What? Do you have any idea how much you turn me on. Quietly. Do you mind were in a restaurant. Since your not hungry anyway what do you say we get out of here. Looking over at the table. And waste a perfectly good bottle of wine? Well take it with us And just where do you plan on going? Kissing her lightly and then pulling away. Trust me, you wont be disappointed. |
