�Bo, Bo, wait up.� Roman yelled after him. �What the hell are you thinking?� Bo stopped and looked at him. �I don�t know how much more of this I can take man. Everything inside of me is screaming kill the bastard who raped your wife.� �He didn�t rape her Bo and you know that.� �Maybe not, but he did take advantage of her and right about now it�s the same thing as rape.� �Bo you have to let this go or things between you and Hope will never be the same.� Bo shakes his head. �They�re never going to be the same.� �Don�t you dare tell me you are going to give up and walk away from your marriage?� �He likes tormenting me and I know I shouldn�t let him get to me �. But when he goes on and on about how good she felt in bed and the way she smells and���.� �Bo, listen to me!� Roman yelled as he pulled his arm. �You need to forget about Lockhart and work on saving your marriage.� He got Him to somewhat calm down. �Have you and Hope gotten any closer since the last time you told me about how you felt after you made love to her?� �Hope and I haven�t been that close since�. If you even want to call that being close!� Bo snickered. �Bo what you and Hope have��.� �Had.� Bo replies cutting him off. �No.� Roman continues. �What you and Hope have is what so many other couples wish they had.� �I don�t know how to do it Roman.� Bo states frustrated as all heck. �I don�t know how to get close to my wife again without felling���� �Feeling what?� Roman asked. �Feeling��.disgusted, betrayed��� �Hey man if Hope could get past you and Billie sleeping together��.. Oh so many times�� then you have to learn how to give her the same love and support she gave you.� �What can I say Roman? My wife is a better person then me.� �She may be a more forgiven person but she isn�t a better person.� Bo gives him a strange look. �Fine, then you tell me, if I�m such a good person � how come it�s so hard at times to even look at her? To know that she�s carrying another man�s baby���� �Why don�t you again stop and think about how Hope felt knowing that the man she loved got another woman pregnant!� Roman yelled cutting him off. Bo threw his hands up in the air. �Just goes to show yet again that she�s a better person then I am.� �And there lies you problem.� �Excuse me.� �You are just so determined to be the victim in all of this that you can�t see what�s right in front of your face. The only person stopping you and Hope from being the all American loving couple is you. You need to stop thinking about what this is all doing to you and start thinking how all of this is affecting your wife. Have you even stopped and thought about Hope and what this is doing to her, at all?� Bo looked Roman straight in the eyes. �I love my wife and both you and her, know that.� �I never said anything about love.� �You know Roman ��.. Right about know my head hurts and I can�t do this anymore�. I just want to be alone.� �Why don�t you go home to your wife?� �Because as much as I love her she�s not the same woman I married.� Bo quietly replied as he walked off. Less then an hour later Hope comes running down the stair and opens the front door when she hears a car pull into the driveway. �Bo?� She questions but is shocked to see Patrick standing there covered in his own blood. �What on earth? Who did this to you?� �Your husband, that�s who!� �If Bo did this to you then why would you becoming here to where he lives?� �Because I needed to see you. I needed to make sure you were okay.� �Bo would never hurt me and if he did this to you then you had to have done something to provoke him.� �My face hurts can I please come in and get some ice.� Patrick pleaded. Hope thought about it for a second. �Fine just stand here and I�ll get you some ice.� �Thank you.� When Hope returned from the kitchen she found Patrick much to her dismay sitting on her couch. �Here�s the ice, take it and leave.� �Hope I�m�.� He replied not moving. She grabbed his one arm and tried to pull him up. �I don�t want you here when Bo gets home, please leave.� He pulls her down next to him. �Don�t you know how much I love you Hope and how much I need you?� Pulling herself back. �The only thing I know is that you are drunk and that you need to leave, NOW!� �Hope please, don�t push me away.� He replies holding her arm tighter then before. �I want to show you how much you mean to me.� �Patrick let go of my arm your hurting me!� He puts his one arm behind her head and forces her to kiss him. She tries her hardest to push him back but he refuses to let her go. He lays his body down on hers and begins kissing her neck. �Get off of me!� She screams. �I want to relive the night I had in my head over and over again while we were on that Island Hope. The night we should have made love.� She caught only every other word he was saying as she continued to scream. �I wanted you so bad� I could taste you.� He stated as his hands slid under her shirt and up towards her chest. �I need to make love to you Hope. I need to feel your skin against mine.� He over took her mouth once again against her will. She was finally able to push him back slightly. �Patrick please� don�t do this.� She cried. �You�re going to hurt the baby.� �What the hell?� Bo yelled as he walked into the house. �Get the hell off my wife.� He added as he picked Patrick up by his neck almost chocking him to death right there and then but let go so he could punch his lights out. �Bo thank god your home.� Hope yelled as she run into his arms and busted out into tears. �I couldn�t get him off of me��.� �It�s okay.� Bo repeated several times as he held her tight and tried to get her to calm down. �Bo are you trying to kill yourself��� Roman began to say as he walked into the house but stopped short upon seeing a distraught Hope crying her eyes out and Patrick Lockhart lying on the floor nearly unconscious. �What the hell happened here?� �Lockhart tried to rape my wife.� Bo barely spit out. �He�s lucky he�s still alive.� Roman walked over to Bo and Hope and rubbed her hair. �Hope are you okay?� Hope held Bo tighter as she nearly passed out. �It�s okay I�ve got you Fancy Face.� Bo said as he leaned down and picked up her feet and carried her over to the couch. �Don�t let go Bo.� Hope cried out in fear as she felt his arms slide out from behind her. �I�m just going to go get you a blanket.� �No!� She yelled again. �I�ll get the blanket.� Roman said as he pushed Bo down on the couch next to Hope. �You�re safe now Fancy Face.� Bo replied with his eyes closed as he rocked her in his arms. �Here you go Hope.� Roman added softly as he covered the two of them with the blanket and started to whisper in Bo�s ear. �I�m gonna call the station and get a squad car over here right now. You just take care of her.� �Thanks man.� Bo replied as Roman stood up and turned around. �Where the heck did Lockhart go?� |
