~ Quatermaine Living Room ~
Emily is sitting on the couch writing in her dairy when Skye walks in.
�If your still mad at me I don�t want to hear it.�
Closing her book. �Don�t worry I have no intention of wasting my breathe. Besides it�s not like you�d hear me anyway.�
Pouring herself a glass of water. �For God sake Emily wake up and smell the coffee, Alexis killed a man and got away with it.�
�So you thought it was your place to make sure she paid by losing her child! If you want a child so bad why don�t you have one of your own?�
�I wish I could Emily but I can�t.�
�Come again?�
�I found out a few weeks ago that I couldn�t have children.�
�So you steal somebody else�s?
�Emily you are way off base.� Ned yells walking into the room. �Skye and I aren�t trying to steal Kristina away from Alexis.�
Skye wraps her arm around Ned and chimes in. �Besides you can�t steal something that is already yours.�
Ned looks at Skye and then back at Emily. �I want Alexis to be a part of Kristina�s life I just don�t think now is the best time for that.�
Emily pulls Skye off of Ned and outta her ear shot. �Do you have any idea how much pain Alexis is in?�
�I didn�t do that to her, she did it to herself.�
�If you really cared about her or Kristina you�d do something to help reunite them.�
�Emily the court has already made it clear that Alexis is to have nothing to do with her.�
�And since when did Ned Ashton play by the rules?� Emily looks over at Skye. �How long are you going to allow Skye to lead you around by the nose?� She walks over and picks up her book. �The two of you make me sick.� She leaves the room.
�Ned don�t let her get to you, she�s a kid what does she know anyway?�
�She knows the one thing I as a parent should know whose lost a child.�
~ Emily�s room ~
Her cell phone rings as she walks through the door.
�Hello�
�Hey Emily it�s me Alexis I need your help.�
Emily closes the door behind her. �What do you need?�
�I need to see Kristina.�
�Alexis you know I�d do anything to help you but��
�Emily all you have to do is take Kristina to the park and I�ll meet you there. I promise I won�t run off with her and if anybody sees us I�ll tell them I ran into on accident.�
�Alexis I don�t�.�
�Emily I�m really sorry to have to ask this of you but you�re the only one who can help me see her.�
Emily hears yelling outside in the hall
�Ned I don�t know what your so upset about. Kristina has two loving parents in the two of us.�
�Alexis is still Kristina�s mother and I have to do something to help her.�
�By keeping her away from Kristina and forcing her to go to therapy is not only helping Alexis but helping Kristina as well. I mean how would you feel if Alexis were here with Kristina thanks to you and something happened. Alexis is sick Ned and she needs your help, but most importantly so does your helpless little girl.�
�I don�t know Skye sometimes I think I�m helping the two of them and other times I think I�m hurting them more and more with each passing day.�
Emily to herself. �Ned Ashton how on earth can you let somebody like Skye control you like this.�
On the other end of the phone yelling. �Emily, Emily are you still there.�
�Sorry Alexis, I was just thinking. Alice is going to be taking Kristina for a walk in the gardens shortly so if you meet us in the park in about an hour, I�ll bring her there instead.�
�Thank you Emily, you have no idea how much this means to me.�
~ The Park One Hour Later ~
Emily is pushing Kristina in a baby swing. She keeps looking out for not only Alexis but for any of the Quatermaines as well. She�s not really sure she�d doing the right thing back it�s to late to back out of it now.
�And just what are you up to Miss Quatermaine?� A voice behind her asked.
�I�m not doing anything.� She shouted turning around relived to find Nikolas standing there. �I thought you were somebody else.�
Laughing �Appearntly.�
�What are you doing here?�
�I just got into a fight with Stefan and needed some air so I decided to take a walk in the park and after finding you here with my niece I�m glad I did.�
Looking away from him. �It�s a lovely evening.�
�Yeah I�ve always loved this time of day myself.� He takes a deep breath. �Although it smells like rain is in the air.�
She pushes Kristina a little higher. �As much as I love the rain I hope it doesn�t rain any time soon.� She looks up at him and he smiles. �I�d hate for the baby to get wet.�
�Emily, Nikolas what are you doing here?� Alexis asks
�Kristina and I were just taking a walk and Nikolas showed up.�
Alexis looks down at Kristina and then picks her up. �Hey baby girl, how�s my little one doing.�
Nikolas pulls Emily off to the side. �It�s really nice of you to do this for Alexis.�
�I didn�t do anything.�
�Emily Quatermaine I know what a loving heart you have, so you can�t hide anything for me.�
�Okay fine I felt sorry for her, and besides why shouldn�t I, Kristina needs Alexis as much as Alexis needs her.�
Just then Cameron walks up and takes Kristina from Alexis and hands her back to Emily.
�Emily I think it�s best if you take Kristina home.�
�Cameron what are you doing?� Alexis yells.�
He grabs her by the arm and pulls her out of the park to his car. �Get in.�
�Cameron why are you treating me like a child? Your the one who told me I needed to get out of the house. How was I suppose to know Emily would be at the park with Kristina?�
Starting the car and driving off. � I thought you�d be smart enough not to do anything stupid after that Dobson mess and what do you do?�
�I took a walk in the park.�
�Alexis I know your desperate to get Kristina back but exposing yourself like that in public isn�t the best way to do it.�
�I told you I ran into�.�
�Them by accident I know.� He looks at her. �Well I don�t buy it and neither would any of the Q�s, the judge or Scott Baldwin for that matter. Now I�m taking you home and we�ll talk about this later.�
