| CHAPTER 5
Salem PD Bo walks into his office and is relived that Billie isn�t there. He walks over to his desk and begins to look through the pile of paper work she left behind. He mumbles something under his breathe as he tosses it aside. He looks up to see Kate standing there. �If you�re looking for Billie she�s not here.� �Well while you were other wise engaged Billie found out some new information and took off to God knows where alone.� �Billie is more then capable of taking care of herself, granted she doesn�t think before she acts but she�ll manage.� Kate closes the door and walks over to his desk. �I can�t believe how cold hearted you can be. Georgia is your daughter too and you should be out there looking for her.� �Kate get over yourself, you don�t care half as much about Billie and I finding our daughter as you do about Billie and I getting back together.� Kate is about to say something but Bo doesn�t let her. �Billie�s already filled me in on the ideas you keep putting in her head about me leaving my wife and sons, and going back to her.� He sits back into his chair. �So you can save your breath.� �I�m sorry if you think me wanting the best for my daughter makes me a bad mother but��..� �But nothing Kate, you know how much Hope and I love each other and Georgia isn�t going to change that. If you love your daughter like you say you do, and you want her to be happy, then you need to convince her to move on with her life. There is no future for the two of us.� �I couldn�t have said it better Brady.� Hope states walking through the door. �Hello Kate.� �If the two of you will excuse me I need to go find my daughter.� Hope walks over next to Bo and he pulls her onto his lap. She doesn�t say anything until Kate walks out the door and closes it. �Yea probably to fill her head with more ideas about stealing you away.� Bo takes Hope�s chin in his hand and makes her look at him. �That isn�t going to happen Fancy Face. So you need to stop worrying.� He pulls her into a kiss. �Now if that isn�t a sight for sore eyes then I don�t know what is.� Bo and Hope laugh as Hope lays her head on Bo�s shoulder. �Abe how you doing?� Bo asks �Some days are better then others and today happens to be a better day.� He pulls a chair over and sits down. �Lexie filled me in about Georgia, any news yet.� �Other then the fact that she is alive and the Dimera�s are behind it, not really.� �The Dimera�s .� Abe begins to say as Hope cut�s him off. She tries to get up but Bo holds her back. �I�m going to let the two of you talk. I promised Jenn I�d meet her for lunch.� �You aren�t running off because Abe and I are talking about Georgia, are you?� �No I promise you Georgia has nothing to do with me leaving.� They kiss �I love you Fancy Face.� �I love you too Brady.� She walked over and kissed Abe. �Take care of yourself.� Hope Leaves �That�s a good woman you got there Bo. I�d hold on to her if I were you.� �Don�t worry Abe I have no intention of letting her go.� Abe notices all the paper work on Bo�s desk. �So no good leads on Georgia.� �I�m waiting for some lab results to come back and hopefully they�ll lead us closer to her whereabouts.� �Bo have you seriously given what Georgia being alive is going to do to your marriage and to Hope.� Bo gets up and walks over to the window. �I don�t know why everybody is so worried about Hope and I. We have a very strong marriage and we�ve been through worse then this.� �Bo I�m not saying your marriage won�t survive whatever the outcome is. I�m just trying to get you to realize things are bound to change.� �Abe I know things will never be the same once we find her. And I know it�s going to be a rough situation for everyone involved. But I also know that I have a daughter somewhere out there and I need to find her at all cost.� �I just really hope you don�t push Hope out of your life while you do so. I honestly think you need to included her more.� �Abe I�m doing everything possible �.� �Taking off to Europe with your ex wife and lover wasn�t a good start.� �That�s not fair, Billie didn�t give me much of a choice.� Sarcastically �She held a gun to your head?� �No.� �She threatened Hope or the boys if you didn�t go?� �No.� �She threatened to keep you out of Georgia�s life when she finds her.� �No, and you can stop right there because I got your point.� Getting up to leave. �I hope you do detective Brady.� Jenn�s House. �Anybody home?� Hope yells walking through the door with Zack in her arms. �I�m in the kitchen Hope.� �I hope you don�t mind but I brought company for lunch.� �Hope you know you can invite anybody you�..� Jenn says turning around and seeing Zack. �You know every time I see him I swear he gets bigger and bigger.� Hope suddenly looks like she�s about to get sick. Jenn quickly pulls out a chair. �Hope you don�t look so good, come sit down.� Handing Zach to her. �Hold him for a second.� Hope ran off before Jenn could say a word. She returned a few moments later like nothing happened. Smiling. �So how often do you get sick like that?� �It was probably something I ate for breakfast.� �So this is the first time it�s happened?� Joining Jenn at the table. �So what�s for lunch? Do you need any help?� �Are you sure you�ll be able to keep it down?� �Don�t even think it.� �Think what.� Jenn laughs �You and I both know what you�re thinking and you need to stop it right now.� �So this mean you and I are thinking the same thing then, right?� Jenn teases. �You know we are and you need to stop.� �Does Bo even have a clue?� Trying to change the unsaid subject. �Most the time I�d so no.� �So how often do you think it�s going to take of you getting sick out of nowhere for him to put two and two together?� �I haven�t gotten sick in front of him.� �So this isn�t the first time.� �Okay Jenn it�s not that I wouldn�t love the idea, it�s just with this whole Georgia mess, now isn�t the best time.� �Maybe it�s the perfect time.� �You have to promise me you�re going to keep this to yourself.� Excited. �So you do think your pregnant?� �Let�s just say I haven�t ruled it out.� Jenn pulls out a small little box she�s been sitting on. �Well we both know the best way to find out for sure.� Taking the box from her and looking very puzzled. �You keep a spear around just in case?� Jenn can�t help but laugh. �You never know when you might need one.� Hope drop the box on the table. �There is no way I�m taking this.� �Taking what?� Abby asks walking into the kitchen along with Chelsea. Hope grabs the box and places in her coat pocket. �So girls how�s school going?� �Yuck do you even have to ask?� Chelsea remarks. �School is so lame.� Abby chimes in. �Come on Chelsea lets get out of here.� �You are not aloud to leave this house little girl.� Jenn yelled and Abby ignored. �I take it things aren�t getting better.� �If anything Hope I think it�s getting worse. I just don�t know what to do with her. Some days she�s just completely impossible.� �Sweetie you just need to give her a little space and some more time to adjust to Jack being gone.� �Sometimes Hope I think I�m giving her to much space and then other times I feel like I�m crowding her.� �It sucks to be a mother some days doesn�t it.� �Speaking of unruly kids, have you seen Shawn.� �I�ve tried calling him several times but he�s either purposely ignoring me or just doesn�t care.� Jenn places her hand on top of Hope�s. �Please tell me you showed Bo the marks on your shoulder.� �He saw them.� �How�d he take it?� �Not well, and at this point, I�m really afraid of what�s going to happen when he catches up with Shawn D.� |
