| CHAPTER 4
Hope comes walking down the stairs, tying her robe shut as she heads for the kitchen. Suddenly she jumps as she hears a noise outside the door. She walks over to it an opens it as Jenn is about to knock. �I know I should have called before I came over, but�.� Hope gives her a hug. �Jenn don�t be silly you know you�re always welcome here.� �I know it�s just with Bo being out of town.� She walks over to the back of the couch and leans against it. �And after everything that�s happen with Shawn and the fire.� She looks like she wants to cry. �The last thing you need is me crying on your shoulder.� Hope walks over and gives her a big hug. �I know this time of the year has to be especially hard on you.� Jenn turns her head hitting Hope�s shoulder causing her to pull away. �Hope what�s wrong.� Hope rubs her shoulder lightly. �It�s nothing I just hurt myself that�s all.� Looking at her. �It�s more then that isn�t it.� Hope walks past her. �I was just heading into the kitchen to make some coffee, would you like some.� Jenn turns towards her. �It�s worse then I thought.� �Should I take that as a no?� Hope laughs as she heads into the kitchen. Following her and yelling. �Hope you better tell me what happened.� �SHHHH� �Sorry Hope I forgot how early it is. I hope I didn�t wake Zach.� �With any luck you didn�t wake Bo.� Ecstatic. �What Bo�s home, why didn�t you tell me?� �I�m sorry I guess it just slipped my mind.� Jenn takes both her hands. �Because you have other things on it. Like why your shoulder hurts so much.� She lifts Hope�s robe up off her shoulder and notices a large handprint. �Hope who did this to you?� She starts to get really upset. �Did somebody break in and hurt you, while Bo was out of town? If they did I swear Bo is going to be the one sorry hear?� Jenn really starts to go off. �I can�t believe that man had the nerve to leave his family like he did.� Getting even more upset. �And with Billie Reed out of all people. Doesn�t he even care how about your feelings?� �Jenn what�s gotten into you, you need to calm down.� �I�m sorry Hope it�s just every time I think about Bo leaving you and the boys the way he did, it just makes me want to smack him.� She takes a deep breath. �Jack can�t be with his family because of the Dimera�s , but Bo can be and should be.� Hope rubs her other shoulder. �Listen to me. Here I am going off on something that isn�t even any of my business and you still haven�t told me who did this to you.� Hope looks out into the living room and up the stairs. �Jenn it really doesn�t matter it�s over and done with.� �How can you say it doesn�t matter.� Jenn gives Hope a very concerned look. �Jenn what is it?� �I hate that I�m even thinking this.� �Thinking what?� �I want you to tell me the truth Hope. Did Bo do that to you?� �NO Jenn, you know Bo would never physical hurt me.� �I know Hope, I�m sorry I just had to ask.� Hope looks down at the ground. �It was Shawn D.� Shocked �Shawn Douglas did this to you.� �Yes but Bo doesn�t know how bad he hurt me and I don�t want him to know.� �Bo knows about this?� �Bo�s the one who pulled him off me.� Hope pulls her over to the table �I think Jan did something to him, because one moment the two of us were sitting there talking and the next thing I know Jan shows up and my boy freaks.� �What do you think she did to him?� Hope rubs her shoulder and frowns. Very concerned �Hope you need to let Bo see the mark he left.� �What somebody left a mark on my wife other then me.� Bo states walking through the door smiling. �I didn�t think that was possible.� He kisses her, then slaps her on the ass. �Maybe I should leave the two of you alone.� �No Jenn please, stay, have some coffee.� He hands her a cup. Pushing it away. �No I really need to get back to my son.� She looks at Hope. �Besides your wife has something she needs to show you.� He gives her a seductive look. �I doubt it�s something I haven�t already seen?� She hits him playfully on the chest. �Brady we have a guest.� �Don�t worry about me I�m outta here.� Jenn more then willingly replies. The phone rings. �I�ll get it� Bo says after he kisses Hope then leaves the room. Jenn grabs a hold of Hopes arm and whispers. �You better show him Hope Williams Brady.� Ushering her out of the kitchen, causing them both to laugh. �Didn�t you say something about a little boy needing his mommy.� They both stop laughing as they overhear Bo on the phone. �Don�t worry I said I�ll be there for you and I will ��. I have a few things to catch up on here Billie, and then I�ll be down �..� Hope walks Jenn to the door as Bo waves goodbye. �Billie listen we have to take this slow or we�ll lose every lead we�ve got �. I told you I�ll be there and I will�..� Hope closes the door and walks up the stairs. �Billie I have a wife and two other children to take care of as well�..� He turns around and notices Hope is gone. �Listen I can�t talk about this now, I�ll see you later.� Bo rushes up the stairs to find Hope sitting on the edge of their bed looking out the window. �I see it�s still snowing pretty good out there.� He walks over and kisses the side of her head before collapsing on the bed behind her. �Now what is this that Jenn is so concerned that you show me?� �Who knows.� She quietly speaks. He wraps his hands around her and unties her robe. �Bo don�t.� He crawls around the her back and sits next to her. �Okay other then the obvious what�s wrong.� �I just don�t like the idea that at Billie�s request, you�re ready to drop everything and rush out of town at the drop of a hat.� �Hope we�ve been through this and I thought when I left you were okay with me leaving.� �I will never be okay with you going anywhere with Billie Reed.� She stands up and walks over to the window as she reties her robe. �And you didn�t give me any choice, you were going to leave me and your boys no matter what I said.� He gives her a strange look. �What? What is it.� �You�re deliberately trying to pick a fight me with me and I don�t understand why.� Shaking her head �Bo Brady you�ve lost it.� She smirks making her way into the bathroom, closing the door behind her. The phone rings �Better get that it might be Billie.� Hope yells sarcastically behind the locked door. She looks into the mirror while she unties her robe and reviles both her shoulder. Her eyes begin to water as she looks at the bruises. �I can�t let Bo see how bad this is.� She drops her robe to her feet and steps into the shower. (Meanwhile Bo is standing outside the bathroom door holding the doorknob.) �Okay Fancy Face you never lock the bathroom door. Just what is it that you don�t want me to see?� He hears the shower running as he looks around the room. �There has to be something in here that will open this door before she�s done. Just then Zack walks into the room holding a screwdriver. �What�s this daddy?� Bo leans down and gives his son a big hug. �It�s just what I need.� He quickly walks him back to his room. �Mommy and I are going to take a shower and get dressed after that mommy.� He thinks twice. �Daddy will make us some breakfast.� He listen out the door and down the hall. �What�s the matter daddy?� �I thought your mother turned off the shower but she didn�t.� He picks Zach up and places him on his bed, handing him a book. �I need you to be a good boy and reads this quietly.� Bo races back to the bathroom door and quickly unlocks it. He walks into the steam filled room. He smiles as he drops his robe to the ground. �oh who cares what she�s hiding, I�ll figure it out sooner or later.� He states to himself as he opens the shower door and steps in behind her. She screams as his mouth overtakes her ear, underneath the running water. �Bo Brady what do you think you�re doing?� He searches blindly for a bar of soap then begins washing her back. �Something I know for a fact you love.� He can feel her whole body tense up, so he steps back and turns her around. �Okay that wasn�t the response I was ����He stops short when he notices the marks on her shoulder. �Shawn gave those to you didn�t he?� She tries her hardest to distract him as she places her hands on his chest and begins massaging it. She brings her lips close to his. �Now you didn�t really join me so we can talk did you?� He can�t help but squirm as her hand drops lower. �As much as I would love to do nothing more then make love to you right now. I want you to answer my question first. She takes her tongue and wets his lips before pulling him into a steamy hot passionate kiss. She can feel his heart race as he pulls her even closer and they begin to make love. A few moments later he carries her out of the shower and lays her hot, wet, body onto the satin sheets. He slightly places his body against hers more and more as he kisses his way up ending at her lips. Hope leans up to kiss him and he throws his body onto his side next to hers. �Oh no Fancy face, you distracted me once but you can�t do it to twice.� Hope carefully turns onto her side as well. �You wanna make a bet Brady?� |
