| CHAPTER 3
Bo found himself walking for a few hours before he wandered into Alice�s. He walked over to the bar and ordered a beer. He slammed down the first one then ordered another. �You promised you�d be there for my little girl , but when she needs you the most it seems you�re never around.� Doug quietly stated as he sat next to him. Bo didn�t even look at him. �I love your daughter and both you and her should know that without any question.� �I didn�t say anything about you loving her just you not being there for her.� He orders a draft. �I just would like to understand what you could possible be thinking leaving town with Billie Reed of all people.� Looking at him for the first time. �I can�t just abandon Billie when we just found out our little girl is alive.� �But you can abandon your wife and sons?� Getting upset. �I didn�t walk out on Hope and she knows it.� �Maybe not but I can tell you didn�t think much about her feelings before you left town with your ex-wife.� �Hope and I have a very strong marriage.� �Do you believe it�s strong enough to withstand the trouble of Billie Reed once again?� Bo doesn�t even hesitate to answer. �Yes I do, because I have no intention of letting Billie become an issue in my marriage.� �Hasn�t she already?� Doug asks as he finishes his draft and begins to walk away. Ordering another beer. �What you aren�t going to yell at me for not being there for Shawn?� �No. But I think you know better then to be sitting here getting drunk while your wife is at home when she needs you.� He places his hand on Bo�s shoulder. �The two of you need to seriously talk about what the future holds.� He takes a deep breath �I love my little girl and I�m not going to let you hurt her again.� �Doug wait� Bo announces as he walks away. �Before you go can you tell me what you know about what happened with Shawn.� Doug agrees to fill Bo in. Meanwhile back at the house, Hope is standing just outside her front door. She can�t help but think of the things she said to Bo. All she wanted was for him to come home to her and their children and the first thing she does is make him want to leave. She�s lost in thought as Billie walks up. �Is Bo here?� Hope turns away and walks inside. �No he�s not.� Billie follows behind her. �What do you mean he�s not here. I debated coming over here when I couldn�t get him on his cell, but I�ve got some news I really think he needs to hear.� �Billie for god�s sake you�re an ISA agent why do you need Bo holding your hand.� Billie gets upset. �If it were your daughter we were talking about you�d want Bo there every minute of every day.� Getting in her face. �Yes, but the difference is he�s my husband.� Turning away. �I didn�t come here to fight with you Hope.� �No you came here in the hopes of finding Bo and I in the middle of something.� Billie with her back still to Hope smiles slightly. �And your all that more pleased that he isn�t even here.� Turning back to face her. �That�s not true Hope I�ve told you over and over again I have no interest in fight for Bo.� �Yea you�ve told me, and way to many times. You�ve also told me how things would be different if Georgia were alive.� �Like it or not Hope, Georgia is alive, and she is going to cause a great bond between Bo and I.� Getting in Hope�s face. �One that even the great Hope Williams Brady can�t stop.� �Billie how many times must I tell you that Hope is and always will be the love of my life.� Both Hope and Billie turn towards the open door upon hearing Bo�s voice. �Now if you don�t mind Billie, Hope and I have a lot to talk about.� Running towards him. �Bo I have great news. The ISA has a lead. I think we�re closer to finding our daughter more now then ever.� Excited. �Billie that�s great.� He looks over at Hope who just puts her head down and walks away. �Why don�t you follow up on it and I�ll call you in the morning.� He ushers her out the door. �What you aren�t going to come down to the station and help me.� I�ll call you in the morning.� He closes the door and walks over to the couch where Hope is sitting. �May I join you?� �I�m sorry about what I said before I didn�t mean it.� He sits down and takes her hand. �I�m sorry I wasn�t here for you. I can only image how scared you must have been.� She wraps her arms around him and they hug. �I�m just so glad you�re here now.� �I went out looking for him but I couldn�t find him.� Still holding him. �Maybe it�s better you didn�t find him.� Pushing her back so he can look in her eyes. �I can�t believe I walked in here to find our son hurting you like that.� �I don�t know what happened Bo and it scares me.� A few tears fall from her eyes. �It�s like he didn�t even know who I was.� He pulls her close again. �I�m going to find Shawn first thing tomorrow morning and try and find out just what the hell he was thinking.� She looks up at him. �Bo about what I said about you and Billie not wanting to be disturbed��� Kissing her lips lightly. �Forget it Fancy Face it�s over and done with.� �I wish it was that easy.� He pulls her into a passionate kiss, then looks deep into her eyes. �I am never going to leave you and our boys for anybody.� He kisses the top of her forehead. �Or for any reason.� �Bo Brady I love you so much.� He stands up and holds out his hand. She takes his hand and he pulls her to her feet. �Where�s Zack?� Bo questions. �He�s upstairs tucked in his bed.� Quickly pulling her body against his and kissing her neck intensely. �Then I think we should follow his lead.� He pushes her hair behind her ear and begins nibbling on it.� She squirms at his tongue tickles the inside. �You want me to tuck you into bed.� �I was thinking more along the lines of you allowing me to show you just how much I love you.� He states as he begins unbuttoning her blouse. �I think your right.� �I usually am.� He laughs pushing her blouse off her shoulder. Biting her bottom lip. �I meant about taking this up stairs.� �Your wish is my command.� He quickly replies as he sweeps her off her feet causing her to make a sorrow face. �I�m sorry did I hurt you.� �No it�s just���� �Just what?� he asks when she doesn�t finish. She pulls her blouse back over her shoulder, then buries her head into his. �It�s nothing really.� Not convinced. �You sure.� �Yea it�s just suddenly I�m not feeling very well.� He leans down and kisses the top of her head. �When then I guess I�ll be tucking you into bed tonight.� He slowly makes his way up the stairs and into their room. �Bo I really wanted to make love to you tonight.� Hope frets as he lays her on the bed. �We have the rest of our lives to make love.� He pulls the blanket from the edge of the bed and tucks her in tightly. Again she squirms and he notices it. �Hope you sure everything�s alright.� Tapping the bed next to her. �Brady I�m fine I�m just a little under the weather.� He abides her wishes by crawling under the covers next to her. He places his one arm over her body and pulls her tightly. Bo doesn�t see Hope squeeze her eyes in pain as he kisses the back of her head. �You have no idea how nice it is to be home and to have you back in my arms.� �I love you Bo Brady.� She states as tears begin to flow down her face. �Welcome home.� |
