| CHAPTER 18 It�s been about six weeks since Hope�s been home. She�s been informed by the doctors that even though her blood pressures is still too high and she�s still classified as having a high risk pregnancy that as long as she takes it easy she is no longer bedridden. ~ Brady Bedroom ~ Bo comes running out of the bathroom. �What on earth are you doing?� He grabs the box out of her arms she was holding and tosses it onto a nearby chair. �The doctors said no heavy lifting.� He takes her over to the bed and makes her sit down. �And I still don�t like the idea that they let you out of bed.� �Bo I�m fine.� Hope pleaded. �You aren�t fine� and as long as there�s a chance that we could loss this baby or worse yet I could loss you, you aren�t going to be doing any spring cleaning around here.� �Bo I have to do something, I�m going out of my mind.� He thinks for a moment. �okay since against my better judgment the doctors said you can get up and about what do you say we have a picnic out in the backyard.� Looking out the window. �It�s a very lovely day.� �A picnic sounds great but I want to do it in the park.� �I don�t think that�s such a good idea.� Pleading with him. �Come on Bo it will be fun.� Lexie called earlier and she�s going to be there with Theo and Abe and I just talked to Jenn and she might even bring Jack Jr. out as well. We can make a day of it.� He can�t help but give in. �I guess as long as Lexie will be there, it�ll be fine.� She throws her arms around him and pulls him tight. �I love you so much Mr. Brady.� ~*~ A few hours later Hope, Jenn, Jack Jr., and Lexie are all sitting on a large blanket near the pond. They can see the men playing with the boys. �It�s so nice to see Bo and Zack playing together.� Hope sighs �It seems like thanks to Billie Zack never gets to spend anytime with his dad anymore.� Jenn rubs Hope�s back. �Hey forget about Billie. Don�t let her ruin this day for you.� �Here have a sandwich.� Lexie stated holding one out. �I made them myself.� Hope shakes her head. �No thanks Lex I�m not real hungry.� �Hope you�re eating for two.� Lexie demanded. �Besides Doctor�s orders.� �I didn�t know you were that kind of doctor Lexie.� Jenn stated laughing. �I�m any kind of doctor my friends need when they need me.� She dropped the sandwich on Hope�s lap. �Now eat girl.� �Mommy, mommy I�m hungry.� Theo stated running over and plopping down on the blanket. �What�s for lunch I�m starved.� Abe added clearly out of breath. Lexie handed them both a sandwich and before you knew it they were off and running around. �Bo, Zack are you two going to come eat?� Hope yelled to them �Oh sure you don�t have to eat but they do right.� Jenn laughed Hope threw a napkin at her. �Pick up your kid already he�s crying.� Jenn picked him up and placed him on her lap. �Oh darn it.� �What�s the matter Jenn?� Lexie asked as Bo and Zack made there way over to the blanket. �I must have left Jack Jr.�s bottle in the car.� �Don�t worry I�ll go get it for you Jenn� Bo stated grabbing a sandwich from his wife.� Lexie jumps up. �No you stay here and have lunch with your family I�ll go get it.� �No that�s silly Lex, I can get it myself.� Jenn stands up with the baby. �Come on kiddo lets go get your bottle� �I�ll walk with you.� Lexie added in and off then went. �So did you two have fun?� Hope asked Bo kissed her. �Mommy did you see me and daddy on the slide.� Zack asked jumping up and down. �I beat him.� �I sure did sweetie.� Hope looked at Bo. �And it was great.� Zack looked back where Theo and Abe were �Can I go play now?� Bo rubbed the top of his head. �You haven�t finished your lunch.� �You can have it daddy.� Zack yelled running off. Hope starts to laugh. �I swear every day he becomes more and more like his father.� Bo slides his body close to hers and wraps his arms around her. �Really. And here I thought he was getting more and more like you��.do what ever he wants ��when ever he wants��. no matter what.� Jenn and Jack Jr. come walking back over. �So how much longer is it anyway Hope?� �What?� Hope laughed. �The baby, how much longer do we have to wait for it�s arrival?� Hope looks up. �As much as I love being pregnant I can�t wait for this baby to come out.� Jenn places the baby in the stroller. �Did you guys ever find out if it�s a girl or boy yet?� �It seems our little one here doesn�t want anybody to know.� Hope replied placing her hand on her stomach. �I say it�s a girl.� Bo said as he placed his hand over hers. �because it already likes surprises.� �Just think then Bo.� Billie said as she and Patrick walked up. �If it�s a girl then you�ll have two of each. What more can a man ask for?� �Billie.� Hope said annoyed by her mere presences. �Patrick.� �Hey Hope, how you feeling?� Patrick asked. �Bo jumped to his feet. �My wife is fine.� He turns to Billie. �What are you doing with him?� �Bo like it or not Patrick is my friend.� Billie stated smugly �And if things keep going as good as they are, he might end up being your daughter Georgia�s stepfather.� �The two of you are getting married?� Hope asked shock but happily. �Well congratulations.� Jenn added in. �When�s the big date.� �There is no way in hell I�m going to allow you to marry this DiMera minion.� Billie jumped to Patrick�s defense. �He is not working for the DiMera�s.� �Excuse me.� Patrick yelled. �We are not getting married.� �Damn right.� Bo yelled back. �Bo why do you care if Patrick and Billie get married.� Hope yelled making her way to her feet. �It�s now of your business.� Bo turned to Hope. �It certainly is my business if she plans on having a DiMera minion anywhere near my daughter.� �What on earth is going on around here?� Lexie asked running over to Hope�s side. �Did you forget Bo, that your wife, the woman whose carrying your child isn�t suppose to get stressed like this.� Patrick runs over to Hope. �You okay?� Bo grabs Patrick and pushes him away. �Stay the hell away from my wife.� �Patrick, Billie I think it would be best if you leave.� Lexie stated in a demanding voice. �Hope honey come on sit down.� �Lexie I�m fine, I just want to go home.� She looks up at Bo. �Can you please go get our son.� �You know what Hope.� Jenn said stopping Bo. �Zack�s having so much fun with Theo and Abe why don�t you let him stay and I�ll bring him home later.� �That�ll be great Jenn.� Hope gives her a hug. �Thanks.� Patrick grabs Billie�s arm and pulls her to the other side of the park where she watches Bo and Hope leave. �What was that all about?� Patrick yelled. �And why did you make Bo think we were getting married? I never said anything about marrying you.� �Oh lighten up Lockhart, I have no intention of marrying you.� �I can�t believe how sick you really are. You enjoyed making Hope stress out like that.� �All I have to do is look at her husband and she losses it. And with any luck she�ll lose that baby as well.� |
