| CHAPTER 10
�Is it safe to come in?� Billie asked holding the door open. Patrick walks in behind her and can�t help but laugh as he sees Bo and Hope in each other�s arms partially dressed. �And here you were afraid they were going to kill each other.� Bo quickly pulls Hope shirt back onto her shoulder. �I still don�t know why you had to bring him with you.� Billie gives Bo an evil look. �If you�d like us to come back later, that�s fine. Patrick and I can go search for OUR daughter.� Hope whispers in Bo�s ear. �Just because we almost made love doesn�t mean I forgive you.� She walks over to Billie. �Billie I think it�s time you face that fact that Georgia isn�t alive.� Billie slams the door shut. �I�m not giving up until I find my daughter.� �I just don�t know if that�s going to be possible.� �Hope why are you here?� Billie yelled. �If you don�t want to help us why don�t you just go home.� Hope looks at Bo. �I�m not going anywhere.� Patrick tries his best to keep peace. �Okay listen why don�t we check out the address we found on the disc and see where that leads us.� Bo throws his hands up in the air. �It�s a dead end.� �I�m shocked.� Hope chimed in. �Fancy Face, I�m sorry.� �You outta be Brady.� He walks over to her and she pushes him away. �I got the test results back from the lab and they only prove what we already know.� Billie can tell by the look on Hope�s face the news isn�t what she wants to hear. �Those test mean nothing. The Dimera�s could have somebody working in the lab, they could have switched the results.� Hope looks over at Billie. �The results didn�t need to be switched Billie, they were inconclusive.� She looks at Bo. �They couldn�t prove or deny anything.� Bo takes Hope�s face in his hand. �So as far as we know my little girl could still be alive.� �And this whole thing could just be another Dimera plot.� Hope replies. �I�m sorry Bo I wish I could tell you that Georgia is alive and were going to find her, but��� �But you can�t because you don�t want it to be true.� Billie yells �Billie, Hope just wants us to be reasonable.� �I think Bo�s right, Billie.� Patrick replied. �I think we should cut our loses and go home.� Billie continues to yell. �That�s the only reason the two of you are here, isn�t it.� She steps between Bo and Hope. �You flew clear across the country to drag Bo home.� �Yes I did Billie, Georgia isn�t alive and you need to face that.� Billie just started at Hope for a moment before she lifted her hand and smack Hope across the face. Patrick quickly ran and pulled Hope back as Bo did the same to Billie. �You�re so going to regret that.� Hope screamed trying to kick her way out of Patrick�s grasp.� �Oh let her go Patrick this has been a long time coming.� �Enough.� Bo yelled tossing Billie back onto the bed. �Don�t even think about getting up.� �There is no way I�m letting that woman stay in this room.� Billie stated firmly. Bo walked over and grabbed Hope out of Patrick�s arms. �Let�s go.� �Where are we going?� Hope squealed as Bo pulled her out into the hall, shutting the door behind them. �Back to the Jet.� �Not just yet.� Hope stated pushing Bo back and grabbing the door knob. �I don�t think so Fancy face.� Bo remarked as he bent down around Hope�s waist and picked her up.� �Put me down Brady.� �As soon as we get into the elevator.� �I swear Brady if you don�t put me down I�m going to kill you.� Hope kicked and screamed all the way down the hall. The elevator door opened, Bo walked in pushed the button and watched the door close. As soon as they did he literally dropped Hope in the corner. Rubbing the side of her leg. �That hurt Brady.� �Oh and I suppose you kicking the crap out of me felt good.� She stands up. �I wouldn�t have kicked you if you wouldn�t have treated me like a child.� �If you weren�t acting like one I wouldn�t of had to treat you like one.� �And if you hadn�t taken off with Billie, none of this would be happening in the first place.� Bo was mad at hell but had nothing to say in his own defense. �Can you just be quite for two minutes.� �NO I can�t� she yelled as the elevator door opened and she stepped out. Bo looked up and quietly said to himself. �Why did Patrick and Billie have to come back when they did. I was this close to making her forget what an idiot I was.� JUST OUTSIDE BO AND BILLIE�S ROOM Bart is standing there with his ear pressed against the door. His phone vibrates causing him to jump. He walks just away from the door and answers it. �Yes Boss.� �Have you taken care of the matter?� Tony asked in his deep dark voice. �No Boss, not yet.� �What�s the hold up?� �Bo and Billie aren�t alone, Patrick Lockhart and Hope Brady are with them.� �What an interesting choice of partners.� Tony laughed. �What do you want me to do boss? Only Billie and Patrick are in the room.� �Slide the note under the door. Billie�s bond to come looking for Georgia on her own, and when she does I�ll have her exactly where I want her.� BASIC BLACK JET Hope is sitting on the couch when Bo comes out holding an ice pack. �Put this on your face.� She pushes it away. �I don�t want it.� �Your face is starting to swell.� �oh you care?� Hope replied sarcastically. He sits down next to her. �You know I care.� He places the ice pack on her face �you also know how much I love you.� �Ya I felt that love when you disappeared.� �Hope I�m sorry, Billie gave me no other choice.� �You always have a choice Brady, you just have a bad habit of choose the wrong ones.� �Hope I know what I did was very inconsiderate, but I never meant to hurt you.� Getting upset �You never meant to hurt me? You took off to a foreign country with your ex-wife, an ex-wife mind you who has bent over back words in the pass to try and split us up, and you didn�t think that would hurt. How am I suppose to trust you now? How am I suppose to not worry that your just going to do it again? And how do I stop myself from worrying about what the two of you are doing.� He wipes the tears that have fallen from her eyes away and then kisses the top of her head. �Fancy face I love you so much� He kisses her lips lightly. �And I would never cheat on you, with Billie or with anybody else.� �I believe that in my heart Brady it�s my head that�s having a hard time with it.� �Tell me how I can get all your body parts to trust in me again and I�ll do anything.� �Bo, if Georgia is alive you have to believe me when I say I want you to find her.� �I do believe you.� He places his arm around her and pulls her close.� I want to be her stepmother, I wantta watch you try and raise a teenage daughter.� They laugh. �I don�t have a problem with Georgia being a part of our lives.� She looks away. �It�s Billie who I have a problem with.� �Hope once we find Georgia, Billie won�t be much of an issue.� �Brady I so wish that were true.� She looks at him. �But I have a bad feeling once we find Georgia our troubles with Billie will just get worse.� �I won�t let that happen Fancy Face, I promise you.� She lays her head back against his shoulder �You have no idea how much power Billie already has over you �� and we don�t even know for sure that Georgia is alive� �I�m not going to let Billie come between us, I wish I could make you see ��..� Cutting him off. �I know you honestly mean that when you say it �� it�s just Billie has her own agenda�.. And that I�m afraid you don�t want to see.� �All Billie wants to do is find our daughter and live happily ever after.� She sits up and looks at him. �She wants the one thing she could never have Bo.� �What�s that?� �For the three of you to be this perfect family.� He pulls her back against his chest. �I�ve already got the perfect family.� Smiling. �How�d you like it to be even more perfect?� He kisses the top of her head. �I don�t think that�s possible.� She looks up at him. �I do.� |
