�We need to talk!� Carly demeaned as she slammed Alexis office door. Alexis looked up at her from behind her desk. �Doesn�t anybody know how to make an appointment around here?� �If you aren�t going to show up to work on time you really need to let your lovers know.� �Excuse me?� Alexis replied �Jerry has been wondering around the main lobby waiting for you for hours. I finally convinced him to take a hike. I�m sure he�ll be back.� Alexis put her head down. �Jerry� I forgot all about him.� �How do you keep any clients?� �Carly.� Alexis said annoyed �I�m sure you didn�t come up here to complain about Jerry so why don�t you just tell me what it is you want and get out��or better yet just get out.� �Fine� Carly said sitting down. �I need you to help me get rid of Trevor Lansing.� �NO!� �Alexis I know you can find things out that I can�t.� Carly rambled on. �We need to destroy him from the inside. Get him on money laundering or inside trading or something that will keep him behind bars for a long, long time.� �Carly your delusional, and I have no interest in helping you.� �Neither you nor your kids are safe as long as Lansing is around.� �You really need to get a grip and a new hobby.� �This isn�t a joke Alexis.� �Maybe not, but you are.� Alexis replied standing up. �Now will you please leave.� Carly stood up. �Don�t come crying to me when something happens��..� �I won�t!� Alexis yelled as Carly closed the door behind herself. �What now?� She asked as the door opened back up. �I don�t suppose you know where Sonny is?� Carly asked �He promised to take the boys fishing this weekend and I haven�t been able to get a hold of him in days.� �Sonny?� Alexis asked surprised she didn�t to seem to know. �Why would I know where he is? I�m not his keeper.� �Alexis I know you don�t like the man but he is the father or your daughter you could act a little concerned for his safety.� �His safety?� �Didn�t you hear me I haven�t talked to him in days, and I think something may be wrong.� �Carly he�s fine. I just saw him last night.� �Last night? Where?� �At Wyndermere.� �Why on earth would he come and see you?� Alexis became very sarcastic. �Like you said we have a daughter together.� Carly didn�t like Alexis throwing that fact in her face and she made damn sure she knew it. �And we have two sons, but I haven�t heard from him in days!� �Who haven�t you seen in days?� Sonny asked walking through the door. �Now I know you don�t have an appointment.� Alexis stated annoyingly. �So why don�t the two of you take this somewhere else �.anywhere else.� �Where have you been Sonny Corinthos? You promised the boys you�d take them fishing.� �And I will.� He replied then looked at Alexis. �You left without saying goodbye.� �I had work to do.� Alexis quietly stated. �Without saying goodbye?� Carly asked confused. Sonny looked at her. �I�m sorry I guess the boys didn�t tell you that I�m living with Alexis and the girls at Wyndermere.� �We are not living together.� Alexis replied finding it hard to breathe. �He is just staying there for Kristina�s sake.� Carly looked at Alexis and then back at Sonny. �Michael never said a word.� �Look Carly I�m sorry if this bothers you but the boys will be staying with me at Wyndermere this weekend.� Sonny stated firmly �I don�t want my kids anywhere near that mausoleum!� �Sonny you�ve been there long enough to know that Kristina�s fears are just that, a childhood fear.� Alexis chimed in. �So there�s no reason you can�t go back to your place.� Sonny walked over towards her. �The only way that is going to happen is if you and the girls come with me.� �Is this someone�s idea of a sick joke?� Carly yelled. �I can�t believe you are allowing this woman to play on your guilt.� �Guilt?� Sonny and Alexis both asked. Carly walks over to Sonny and pulls him away from Alexis. �Listen Sonny I know you feel responsible for Kristina and all but how can you let her lead you by the nose like this? She�s just trying to get you into bed again.� Sonny couldn�t believe she said what she just said. �Kristina is my daughter and I am not ashamed of that fact and if you are Carly well I�m sorry, but that�s something you need to deal with. And as far as Alexis is concerned whatever does or doesn�t happen between the two of us is none of your business. Anything you and I could have had you destroyed when you married candy boy.� �I wasn�t implying��� �Carly, you�re always implying.� Sonny said cutting her off and turning his attention towards Alexis. �Where�d she go?� Carly couldn�t help but smile. �I told you she�s only playing games with you. She�s probably hoping you�d chase after her and tell her every things going to be just fine.� She looks at her watch. �I�d give her thirty minutes before she�s using Kristina as a way to lure you in again. The woman really is desperate Sonny and you use to be smart enough to know that.� @------------------------------------------@ �Good Morning Alfred.� Alexis says entering the main living room at Wyndermere. �I�m sorry about leaving the girls with you earlier but I had to get to the office and Viola isn�t feeling well very.� �It�s not a bother madam.� He replied. �I love watching the children and I just checked in on Viola and she�s still sleeping.� Kristina run up to her. �I glad your home mommy. I missed you.� �Da da.� Molly squealed causing Alexis to turn her head quickly. �What are you doing here Ric? You know your welcome to see your daughter anytime you want but you have to call first.� Ric walks past Alexis and picks up Molly. �I did call but you didn�t answer.� �That doesn�t give you the right to just show up.� �Are we really going to do this in front of the girls?� He asked as he kissed Molly�s cheek. �It�s been a really long week Ric, so I�ll let it slide this time, but for future references you need to make sure it�s okay with me before you just barge in. Alfred can you please take Kristina up to her room and get her shoes and jacket on. I want to take her for a walk in the garden before it gets to cold out.� �I was hoping Kristina could spend sometime with Molly and myself.� Ric stated. �I don�t think that�s a good idea.� Alexis replied to Ric. �Thank you Alfred.� �If that�s what you wish madam.� Alfred said as he took Kristina�s hand and they headed upstairs. �Are you not going allow me to spend anytime with my niece?� �I have to allow you time with Molly and that�s it. Besides I don�t think Sonny would be to happy if he came home and found you playing with his daughter.� �Oh let me get this straight!� Ric said firmly as he placed Molly back on the floor in front of her toys. �My mobster brother can tuck my daughter into bed at night and read her a bedtime story but I can�t have any contact what so ever with his daughter.� �Seems to sum it up.� Alexis said clearly and matter of factly. �I don�t need your negative influence in Kristina�s life, it�s bad enough I have to have it in Molly�s.� �You really do hate me that much, don�t you Alexis?� �Give me one good reason why I shouldn�t?� She asked �Molly�s happiness and well being should be reason enough!� �You started this war Ric when you took me to court and stole my child from me.� �What is going on here?� Sonny yelled as he walked into the room. �Why are you once again upsetting Alexis.� Alexis turned and looked Sonny straight in the eyes. �And why do you keep popping up everywhere I go?� �I just wanted to make sure you were okay Alexis. You left your office without saying anything.� �You and Carly seemed to be doing fine without me around.� She replied sarcastically. �You two make me sick.� Ric announced out of nowhere. �You claim to hate each other but yet can�t stay away from one another.� Sonny looks at Alexis. �Why is he here?� �He�s here to see Molly.� She walks over and picks her up and hands her to him. �And they were just leaving.� Ric with Molly in his arms walks past Sonny. �Call me later Alexis when you and Sonny here aren�t to busy doing things my daughter shouldn�t see and I�ll bring her back.� Sonny was about to say something but Alexis walked over and pulled him back. �I�ll call you later Ric. Have fun sweetie.� She then looked at Sonny. �Don�t start!� |
