Nikolas comes walking into his study. He drops his briefcase on his desk and picks up the phone. �Get in here now!� He barks and hangs up the phone. �You wanted to see me sir?� �Yes Alfred, I want to know what the heck has been going on around here since I�ve been gone.� �Business as usual sir.� �Business as usual!� Nikolas yells. �I don�t think so. There seem to be way more guards looming around then when I left, and two of tried to frisk me before allowing me into my own home��..Now I want you to tell me what�s going on!� �The guards you speak of belong to Ms. Davis�s houseguest, sir.� �Ms. Davis�s houseguest?� He barked again. �Yes sir, he�s been staying across the hall from her, for the last 3 days.� �Are you trying to tell me a man has been leaving under this roof, screwing my aunt for the past three days and you never saw fit to call me.� �Screwing sir?� �Screwing, shacking up with, doing the wild thing�..� realizing Alfred doesn�t have a clue to what he is referring to, he in turn yells. �Having sex with my good man!� �Oh no sir, I don�t believe they are in the least.� Just then Alexis walks in and Nikolas jumps all over her. �Would you like to tell me who the hell you have been sleeping with under my roof while your kids could walk in at any time! Don�t you have any pride woman? Haven�t you learned sleeping with the enemy only gets you in trouble�..not to mention pregnant.� Alexis is flabbergasted. �I don�t know what you are insinuating, but I am not now nor would I ever think of bringing somebody to this house to have sex with them.� �Are you accusing Alfred of lying to me?� Alexis turns and looks at Alfred. �Sir I think you miss understood what I was saying.� �Did you or did you not tell me there was a man sleeping in this house while I�ve been away?� Nikolas demanded to know. �Yes sir, that is what I said. But in no terms did I say that Ms. Davis was���� �Thank you.� Nikolas stated cutting him off. �You can leave now.� �Nikolas you really need to calm down. I really wish you�d tell me what makes you go off like this.� �Are you telling me I shouldn�t go off when my Aunt is screwing the lunatic, in my house, who poisoned me for months.� �How many times do I have to tell you, Jerry is my client only. We are not now, nor do I have any intention of sleeping with him.� �We�ll it� nice to know you haven�t lost all your senses Alexis. It�s bad enough you not only slept with but married my brother.� �Corinthos what the hell are you doing here?� Nikolas demanded to know. �We�re in the middle of something and it doesn�t concern you, so you can leave the same way you got in.� Alexis walks up to Sonny and gives him that shut the hell up look, but he just smiles and begins to run his mouth. �What nobody�s told you?� Sonny smirked �Told me what?� Alexis put her hand over Sonny�s mouth. �I was going to call you but��..� �But what?� Nikolas asked even more annoyed then before. �I�m living here now.� Sonny answered pulling her hand off his mouth and holding it against his chest. �Your Aunt here isn�t safe and since she refuses to live with me, where I can keep and eye on both her and our daughter.� He smiles at her and you can see the anger build up inside of her. �I�ve decided to move in here with them. By the way the boy�s love your new horse.� Nikolas throws his glass against the door. �I want him out of here Alexis and I want him out of here NOW!� �Have you lost your mind?� Sonny asked stepping in between the two of them. Nikolas is getting angrier with every passing second and Sonny can see it in her eyes. �You either get him out of here now, or I will have Alfred pack your bags and throw you all out.� �Alright that�s it.� Sonny replies. �You can�t speak to her like that!� �Who the hell do you think you are.� Nikolas saying pushing Sonny back. �You can�t tell me how to speak to my Aunt.� Sonny raises his hand to punch him but Alexis steps in between them almost getting hit herself. �Have you lost your mind?� Sonny demands to know of Alexis. �I could have seriously hurt you.� Nikolas walks over and pours himself a drink. �Would somebody like to tell me why the two of you are still standing here in my study?� Sonny grabs Alexis�s hand and pulls her towards the door. �We are getting out of here now!� �Sonny let go of me!� Alexis screamed pulling out of his grip. �I need you to please go upstairs and let me handle this!� �There is no way I am leaving you alone with this maniac.� �Nice one Corinthos.� Nikolas laughs. �You kill people for a living or should I say pay people to kill for you and I�m the maniac.� Alexis has noticed Nikolas attitude has changed drastically. She pulls Sonny over to the side. �Please let me handle this.� He looks over at him. �No! I am not leaving here without you.� �Sonny the girls and I aren�t going anywhere. However if you�d like to go back to your place��..� �My daughter is coming home with me and there is no negotiating that fact, councilor.� �Fine.� She looks back at Nikolas, who is now sitting at his desk like nothing has happened and then back at Sonny with pleading eyes. �I�ll have Viola get Kristina ready and Molly and I will be by later to pick her up.� �Like I said before I am not leaving you here alone with him. And stop looking at me like that, it won�t work.� �Sonny I know you are genially concerned and I appreciate it�� I do, but I�ll be okay. He�s not going to hurt me.� She begins to rub her arm. �You have no idea how sorry I am for pulling you like that I didn�t mean it.� He states as he takes her arm from her and notices how bruised it is. �I�m going to go into the kitchen and get you some ice.� He looks her straight in the eyes. �I�ll be gone for two minutes and that�s all the time you get.� She starts to say something. �You get two minutes!� He repeats and walks out of the room. Alexis walks over to the couch where Nikolas is sitting and sits on the coffee table across from him. �I need you to trust me enough to tell me what�s going on with you.� He looks up at her. �I�m sorry if I lost it when I found out that man was living here but���� �That man you are referring to his Kristina�s father, like it or not.� �Well I don�t like it.� He replied calmly �But I�ve learned to live with it.� �Nikolas I don�t know what just happened but it can�t happen again and the only way I know for sure it won�t is if you tell me what�s wrong with you.� �I�m sorry if you think me getting upset about a mobster living under my roof, and sleeping with my Aunt ��..� �Sonny and I are not sleeping together.� She says point blank. �And I really wish you�d stop accusing me of sleeping with my clients. �Are you telling me you�re working for him again? Have you lost you�re mind completely? Don�t you remember how he ruined you�re life the last time you worked for him. You were happy, in love, about to man the love of your��.� Noticing that he�s starting to get upset again. �Let me rephrase that, please.� He calmly looks up at her. �Tell me you aren�t working for him again.� �I�m not..� Sonny walks over and places the bag of ice on Alexis�s arm. She looks up at him begging for just two more minutes alone with him. �I�m going to go upstairs and check on the girls.� �Thank you Sonny.� She quietly announces. Shaking his head. �I don�t know what you ever saw in the man.� �Nikolas please let me in. Let me help you with what ever is going on.� Just then the phone rings. �I�ve been waiting for this call so if you�ll accuse me.� He states as he stands up. �This isn�t over.� She replies walking at of the room. �You okay?� Sonny asked as she stepped out into the hall. �I thought you went to go check on the girls?� �I bet you thought I really went to the kitchen and got you that ice myself.� He half laughed. �How�s the arm?� �Doesn�t hurt half as much as my hand.� He pulls her closer to him and she places her head against his shoulder. �I don�t know how to help him Sonny, and I can�t leave here knowing there�s something going on.� He kisses the top of her head. �If you can convince him to let me stay here with you and the girls, then we�ll all stay.� She smiles up at him. �But if you can�t then we all leave tonight.� �Sonny I can�t leave him like this.� �Alexis I know you love him and you�re worried about him but being here with him like this, you also know isn�t good for your girls.� �Nikolas and the girls are the only family I have left.� �That�s not true.� Sonny replies smilingly �You�ve got me.� Laughing. �Gee how lucky am I.� �I�d say pretty darn lucky.� She stops laughing and places her head back into his chest. �I promise, I�ll help you figure out what�s wrong with him.� �I�ve never seen him like this Sonny and it scares me to death.� He wraps his other arm around her and pulls her closer. �What do you say we go upstairs, get the girls, and head over to the Metro Court for lunch.� �Oh no, there�s no way I can deal with running into Carly right now.� Sonny can�t help but laugh. �How does Kelly�s sound.� �Much better.� |
