�You ready?� Emily asked as she walked into one of the upstairs bedrooms at Greystone Manor. �No I�m not.� Alexis said panicking. �I need you to go downstairs and tell Sonny the wedding is off.� She added as she tried to push Emily out the door. �Alexis you need to calm down and remember this is what you want.� �I���.I can�t�.I can�t do that Emily.� Alexis said once again hyperventilating. �I can�t get married, I just can�t�.I�m incapable of saying I do.� �Alexis I know you can do this and so does Sonny or he wouldn�t be downstairs waiting for you right now.� Alexis tried to push her out the door again. �Please Em go tell him the wedding is off.� Emily didn�t know what to do, but she knew there was no way she was going to calm her down. �Okay fine.� She replied in defeat. �I will go downstairs and tell Sonny what�s going on.� �Tell him I love him but I just can�t do it.� Alexis pleaded as she closed Emily out in the hall. �Oh god what was I thinking.� Alexis said to herself as she made her way into the bathroom and stared at the mirror. �What could I possible be thinking.� She said barely breathing. �And where the heck is Jax with that paper bag!� �Why are you crying mommy?� Kristina asked as she walked into the bathroom. Alexis took one look at her little girl and her eyes lit up. Kristina was dressed in an elegant light pink dress with purple ribbons running through her hair. �Oh my god look at you.� She said bending down. �You are indeed the most beautiful girl in the world.� She played with the ruffles on the bottom of her dress. �I love your pretty dress.� �Daddy let me pick it out all by myself.� Kristina said happy as can be. �We got the same one for Molly and daddy has a flower in his pocket that�s the same color as my hair ribbon.� �And it�s the same color flower that�s in your bouquet.� Sonny said as he walked into the room and handed the flowers to her. �Sonny what are you doing here�� Alexis said panicking. �The groom isn�t suppose to see the bride before the wedding.� �Yeah daddy.� Kristina shot back. Sonny bent down to get to Kristina�s level. �Can you do me a favor and see if Michael and Morgan are dressed.� �They�re downstairs with Viola daddy.� �Why don�t you go join them?� �Okay daddy.� Kristina said as she literally hopped off. �Sonny you have to get out of here.� Alexis screamed s she picked up a towel and tried to cover herself. �Why?� Sonny asked as he grabbed the towel and took in her beauty. He just loved her white backless gown. �I was told the wedding is off.� �Oh yeah.� Alexis said taking a deep breath. �I forgot�.You do realize this has nothing to do with the way I feel about you�I really do love you its just that �.well that�.I just can�t�.come on Sonny you know me and you know there is just no way��.no way that I�m going to be able to say I do in front��well in front of what two��..three hundred people.� Sonny couldn�t help but laugh as she rambled on. He held out a brown paper bag but she just pushed it away. �There�s over four hundred people out there by the way.� �Ove�.ov ���.over f��..f��f��four hundred pe�..peop���people!� She screamed as she took the bag from him and covered her mouth. Sonny flashed his dimples. �I�m only kidding Alexis.� �Don��..don�t�.don�t do that to me!� She yelled still trying to catch her breath. �I don�t know why you �..you love�.you love��..you love to torture me so much?� �Because you�re just too easy.� He laughed as he walked her over to the bed and made her sit. �You know if this wedding is ever going to happen you really need to learn to breathe.� She looked up at him. �I thought�..I thought we agreed to call it off.� �I never agreed to that.� �Sonny.� She grabbed a hold of shirt pulling it out of his pants. �Sonny I can�t do it�I just can�t.� �I need you to breathe Alexis.� She blows into the bag.� What do you think I�m trying to do.� Sonny rubbed her back for a few moments and allowed her to calm down. �Feeling better?� �A little.� She replied nervously �But I still can�t��� He stopped her from talking by bringing his lips down unto hers. She became even calmer once their lips broke free from one another. �There�s a room off the back of the house.� Sonny said taking her hand in his. �That just the minister, Jax, Emily and the kids waiting for us in.� �But what about all the people you invited?� �I know you were going to freak out and not be able to say I do in front of a few hundred people so they were all just invited to the reception. Which is going to be held in the ballroom.� Alexis felt like ten pounds of lead was lifted off her shoulders. �Are you serious?� �You told me I had to plan this wedding all on my own and I knew it was the only way it was going to happen without you running out on me.� She flung her arms around his neck. �Thank you so much Sonny.� Sonny stood up and held out his hand to her. �So Ms. Alexis Davis are you ready to get married?� Alexis took his hand and stood up. �I still don�t know if I�m going to be able to do this Sonny.� Sonny leaned over and whispered in her ear. �Don�t worry each one of the kids have a brown paper bag for ya.� *^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ �Where�s mommy?� Molly cried. �Is this wedding ever going to start.� Michael whined. �This jacket is itching me.� �Can we watch cartoons now?� Kristina asked �I want to watch Sponge Bob.� Molly chimed in. �Sponge Bob is for sissy�s.� Michael added. �Hey I like Sponge Bob.� Morgan yelled. �You also like power puff girls Morgan so I�d be quiet.� Michael shot back �Yeah power puff girls.� Molly jumped up and down screaming. �Great why don�t we just watch Dora the explorer?� Michael said sarcastically. �There will be no cartoon watching until after the ceremony.� Sonny strongly stated as he walked into the room with Alexis on his arm. �Sponge Bob, power puff girls or other wise.� He added as he gave the kids a lets behave look. �So what do you say we get things started.� �Sounds like a plan to me.� Emily replies as she takes the video game away from Morgan. The minister smiles at both of them as he makes his way over to the alter that Sonny had built just for the occasion. Sonny and Alexis slowly walked up and stood in front of him as Jax and Emily took their place next to Alexis. The kids all smiled as they fell in line next to Sonny. �Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to bring together this man and this woman.� The minister started to say as Alexis looked like she was about to pass out. �Father if you don�t mind I think I can take it from here.� Sonny said cutting him off. The minister closed his bible and shook his head. Sonny turned and took both of Alexis�s hands in his own. �I know this is hard for you so we�re going to do this my way.� She tried so hard not to cry. �Alexis Davis I have loved you since the day I meet you. You integrated me, frustrated me and totally confused the hell out of me, but I knew I was hooked. There was just something about you that told me my life was never going to be the same.� He looks over at Kristina and smiles. �You have given me the one thing nobody else could and even thou I didn�t deal with it in the best possible way��� �Nor did I.� She exclaimed �I�m so glad she was born because it brought us to this place and time.� He took a deep breath. �And I�m going to keep this short so you don�t bolt.� He adds as he laughs. �I will love you today, tomorrow and forever.� Alexis couldn�t hold her tears in any longer. �Sonny Corinthos I do love you��..some day�s I�m not really sure why��� but I just do. �Thank God.� He smiles �You frustrate me, annoy me and love to torture me to death, but yet I love you just the same.� He wipes a few tears from her cheeks. �I can�t believe you actually got me here��. but I�m so glad you did because I can�t see spending the rest of my life without you. You complete me and I will love you��.. today, tomorrow and forever.� Sonny Corinthos do you take this woman Alexis Davis to be your loyal fully wedded wife? �Loyal fully?� Alexis asked as she raised her eyebrow. �I do.� Sonny laughed �And do you Alexis Davis take this man Sonny Corinthos to be your loy�..� Alexis gave him an evil look. �Husband?�� Alexis looked back at Sonny who motioned to her that she could do this. �I��.I ��.do.� She nervously spit out. �Do we have the rings?� The minister asked. Sonny turned to Michael and he handed him a gold wedding band. Sonny flashes his dimples as he smiled brightly at Alexis. �With this ring I thee wed.� He said as he slipped the ring on her finger. Michael made his way over to Alexis and handed her the other one. Alexis took a deep breath. �With this ring I thee wed.� �With the power vested in me by the state of New York I now pronounce you Husband and Wife.� The minister said as he smiled at both of them. �You may now kiss the bride.� Alexis looked like she wanted to scream as she brought her hands up over her mouth. Sonny placed his hands on top of hers and brought them down towards her chest. �I love you Alexis Corinthos.� He quietly said as he brushed his lips against hers. �I can�t believe we actually did it.� She was able to spit out before his mouth completely over took hers. �Can we watch cartoons now daddy?� Kristina asked as she pulled on the bottom of his jacket. Sonny and Alexis both broke the kiss as they started to crack up. �What do you say we give your mommy and daddy some alone time.� Jax said as he held out his hand to Kristina and picked Molly up. �Sounds like a great idea.� Emily added as she ushered the boys and the minister out of the room. Sonny kept his arms wrapped tightly wrapped around Alexis and his lips two inches from hers as they spoke. �So Mrs. Corinthos how does it feel to be a married woman?� �That�s still Davis to you buddy.� She smiled. �I thought that was still up for debate?� Her smile brighten. �Pinch me and tell me this is real.� �I�d take you upstairs and show you just how real.� he said seductively. �If it wasn�t for the fact that all our friends and family are waiting for us in the other room.� �And since when does Sonny Corinthos care about other people?� She laughed �Don�t tempt me Alexis.� He said as he pulled her body even closer and slid his hands down her back. Getting serious for a moment. �Thank you Sonny.� �For what?� �For understanding me and knowing me so well.� �Shall we go greet our guests Mrs. Corinthos.� �Davis.� �Corinthos.� She turns and walks out the room. �You�re not going to win this fight.� He watches and smiles as his newly beloved wife walks out. �Sure I will.� He says to himself before he catches up to her. |
