Sonny is sitting in his office starring at a recent picture of him, Alexis, Kristina and Molly. He picks it up and runs his fingers over the glass. He looks to the left side of his desk and smiles at the picture of him with both his boys and Kristina that Alexis gave him just last week. Everybody looked so happy and he knew he had to keep things that way and the only way he knew how to do that was to eliminate Trevor Lansing once and for all. �Would you like to tell me the meaning of this.� Diane yelled as she walked into the room, over to his desk and dropped a large stack of files in front of him.� �Good morning Diane.� Sonny replied as he put his picture back on his desk and sat back in his chair. �What seems to be the problem?� �What seems to be the problem.� She mocks. �Oh I don�t know it could have something to do with the fact that I got a phone call in the middle of the night telling me to bring you certain files first thing in the morning.� She rambles on. �And for what may I ask?� Sonny sits upright in his chair. �I know longer need your legal assistance on these matters and that�s all you need to know.� �Are you firing me?� She asked puzzled. �No I�m not.� �No I�m not, no I�m not?� She asked looking at him cross-eyed �And is that all you have to say for yourself is no I�m not?� �I don�t pay you to ask why. I pay you to do as I say.� He stands up. �And I pay you well, I understand.� �Have I done something to offend you?� Sonny turns and looks at her. �Here�s the deal Diane. I still need you and you are still on my payroll. However Alexis will be handling���.� �Alexis�..Alexis Davis.� She hollers. �That insignificant, mentally challenged, poor dressed, bad boy magnet, who is an unethical excuse of a lawyer is replacing me? You�ve got to be seriously deranged.� �That so called woman you are talking about is the mother of my child.� He replies pouring himself a stiff drink. �And for that I�m sorry.� She replied taking a seat. �But have you forgotten how she walked out on you before?� �Things between us are different now Diane and that�s all I�m going to say on the subject.� He takes his drinks and sits back behind his desk. �Now I need to know what you found on Trevor.� �I told you Sonny I�m not in that line of business.� �I didn�t ask you to kill the man Diane I asked you to find something that I can use against him to get him disbarred.� There�s a knock on the door. �Come in.� Sonny yelled. �Hey there.� Emily replied sticking her head in the door. �I wanted to talk to you but if this is a bad time, I could always come back later.� �No it�s fine.� Sonny said waving her in. �Diane and I here are done anyway.� He gives her a stern look. �Especially since she didn�t bring me the information I needed.� �Why don�t you ask your new attorney to take care of this matter for you?� Diane said outraged. �Because she has more importantly things to take care of for me.� Sonny shot back. Diane is offend as she stands up. �Good day Ms. Quatermaine.� She says before leaving the room. �What can I do for you?� Sonny asked motioning her to have a seat. �Can I get you something to drink?� �No I�m fine, thank you.� She says as she sits down. �I wanted to talk to you about Nikolas and in a round about way Alexis.� �Oh I�m sorry.� Diane screams as she re-enters the room. �I suppose Alexis will be needing these as well.� She continues as she pulls more files out of her briefcase and throws them at him. �Does this mean you�re quitting?� Sonny asked calmly. Diane didn�t say a word as she turned on her high heels and slammed out the door. �What did you do to her?� Emily laughed �Forget her.� Sonny replied leaning on his elbows. �What�s going on with Nikolas? Has he gotten worse?� �No he�s basically been the same but I though you should know what happened earlier this morning.� Sonny suddenly became very concerned as she continued talking. �Alexis stopped by to see Nikolas and I��and well they got into this huge fight. Now I know Alexis loves Nikolas very much and I know if he was in his right mind he�d never hurt her��..� �But?� Sonny inferred as she stopped mid thought. Becoming very nervous about how he was going to react, she spoke slowly. �But I�m scared for her Sonny ��.and I really think ��.she needs to keep her distance.� �Was she okay when she left?� He asked raising his left eyebrow. �She was a little taken back, and honestly I don�t even know what they were fighting about but I think it has to do with Stefan and the fact that Nikolas blames her for his death.� �That makes no sense.� Sonny replies. �Alexis didn�t kill Stefan, Luke did.� �I know that but if you were there and heard what I heard I�m sure you would have come up with the same conclusion.� She stands to leave. �What aren�t you telling me?� He asked with her back to him. She turns and faces him. �I have a bad feeling that everything that�s been happening with Nikolas���� �What Emily?� �It isn�t due to the drugs Jerry injected him with��.not that I�m ruling that possibility out. It�s just I think it has more to do with the Cassadine�s.� �The Cassadine�s?� Becoming intensely nervous. �Like I said I�m not sure it�s just ��there�s been some weird stuff happening around the manor and it�s almost like it�s the work of��� �Spit it out Emily.� �I don�t want to go some place that we don�t have to go��� He leans across his desk and gives her a stern look. �You think Helena is behind this don�t you?� �I�m not sure but I�m not ruling her out either.� She walks over to the door. �But until we know for sure. I really think you should keep Alexis away from that house.� And with that last comment she left. Sonny picked up his drink and so badly wanted to throw it against the wall. He knew Helena coming into the picture wasn�t a good thing and he wasn�t sure which of the two was the lesser evil�.Jerry or Helena. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^* Alexis walks through the front door of the Lake House and looks around her desk. �Hey Viola, it�s me Alexis. I left a file on my desk this morning and I though I took it with me, but I guess I ��..� �Is this the file you�re looking for?� Viola asked holding it up. �Thank you.� Alexis replies walking over and taking it from her. �Where�d you find it. �It was in the fridge.� Viola laughs. �I tried to get you on your cell phone.� �Yeah I know I need to get a new one.� �You know I didn�t even know you knew where the fridge was.� Viola laughed. �Remember Viola you work for me and not Mr. Corinthos and I can always fire you.� Alexis joked back. �Mommy, mommy.� Kristina yelled jumping into her arms. �Viola is going to take Molly and me to the park after lunch. Can you and daddy come?� Alexis kisses the top of her head. �I�d love to sweetie but I have to go back to work.� Kristina started to pout. �Didn�t daddy say something about taking you fishing again?� �Yep.� Kristina said as her eyes lit up. �I got to hook my own shrimp and everything.� Alexis made a funny face. �So where�s you sister at anyway.� �She�s taking a nap.� �And how come you aren�t?� Alexis asked tickling her side. �I�m a big girl mommy I don�t need no stinking nap.� Alexis patted her on the butt and laughed. �Okay.� She gave her a big hug and put her down. �Mommy�s got to go, so why don�t you go see if you can help Viola with lunch?� �Okay mommy.� Kristina said as she skipped off, followed by Viola. �No stinking nap.� Alexis mumbled to herself as she made her way into her bedroom. She stops in front of her mirror and fixes her hair. �Much better.� She starts to walk into the bathroom when somebody grabs her from behind. She tries to scream but they place their hand over her mouth. �If you don�t scream I promise to let you go.� A man�s voice says. She tries to kick him several times before she nods her head in agreement. I�m not going to hurt you, I just need to talk to you.� He replies as he slowly takes his hand from her mouth. �What the hell do you want.� She hollers as she turns to face him. �Jerry?� �I didn�t mean to scare you but I needed to talk to you and I couldn�t take the chance that you�d scream.� Ms. Davis, is everything alright?� Viola asked from the other side of the bedroom door. Alexis looked at Jerry for a moment and then answered her. �Yea Viola it�s fine I jut tripped over the foot of my bed is all.� �Thank you.� Jerry mouthed. �How did you get past the guards?� She demanded to know. �Trust me it wasn�t easy. Sonny�s got more men on the place then I even thought he had working for him.� She can�t help but notice he looks like he�s been in a fight. �Who beat the crap out of you?� �Just a few of Sonny�s friendly guards.� �And you still decided to break into my bedroom?� She questioned. �It�s nice to see you don�t care that your new bedfellow doesn�t have a problem having people beaten at will.� He sarcastically stated as he went to sit on her bed. �You sit on that bed.� She yelled just as his bottom was about to hit her comforter. �And I will scream so loud that you�ll regret ever coming in here.� He stopped dead in his tracks and looked at her. �What�s the matter.� �Shhhh.� She says opening her bedroom door and listening out. �Crap.� Sonny�s home and he�ll kill you if he finds you in here.� �Did you say Sonny�s home?� Jerry asked �Shut up and get in the closet.� She replied pushing him in. �What the�..� He yelled �Shut up.� She strongly stated. �Hey gorgeous what brings you home?� Sonny asked walking up behind her. �And who were you talking to?� �Talking to? She questioned nervously He just looks at her. �I could have sworn I heard you yelling at somebody.� �Oh, I was on the phone.� She laughs. �It�s just this client I have and he�s been giving me a hard time.� He pushes her body against the closet door. �Tell me who he is and I�ll take care of him.� He jokes as he runs kisses down her neck. Pushing him back. �I�m sure he�ll calm after he sees the deal I got him.� He looks at her and notices something is off. �Is something the matter Alexis?� �No I�ve just got a lot on my mind is all.� She answered in a hurried manor. Not sure whether he believes her or not. �Okay.� He kisses her lips lightly. �You never answered my question.� �What question is that?� �What are you doing home?� �I could ask you the same thing.� She shot back. He can still tell something is off but decides to ignore it. �Never mind. I�m actually glad you�re here.� He said snaking his arms around her. �There�s something I need to talk to you about.� �Now really isn�t a good time Sonny.� She replies trying to push him out the door. �I only came home to get a file I forgot this morning and I really need to get down to the courthouse.� �Alexis are you sure your alright?� He asked as she continued to push him. �I promise I�ll be home early tonight and then we can talk.� She said closing the bedroom door behind them. He grabbed her around the waist stopping her from moving. �If Trevor or Jerry or even Helena is threatening you Alexis. You need to let me know so I can deal with it.� �Helena?� Alexis questioned. �Where did that come from?� Not wanting to scare her anymore then he had to, he decided not to broche the subject. �You know me.� He joked as he pulled her close. �I worry about everything when it comes to you and our children.� She kisses him on the lips and then smiles at him. �You�re lying.� �And you�re hiding something in the closet.� He shot back. Biting the bottom of her lip and rolling her eyes. �Call it even.� �Even.� He agrees as he pulls her into one hot and steamy kiss. |
