�Coming.� Ric yells as he walks out of the kitchen and opens his front door. �Alexis what brings you by.� �I�m here to pick up Molly.� She replies. �I hope she�s ready to go.� �Actually she�s not here.� Ric says with a smile. �What do you mean she isn�t here.� �I had an important meeting to take earlier today. I sent her home hours ago with one of my officers. Of course you would have known that if you�d answer your phone sometimes.� �The damn thing died on me.� Alexis said annoyed. �Besides I�ve been in court all day and wouldn�t have been able to answer it.� She turns to leave. �You really need to call your lover Alexis. He�s been looking all over for you.� Ric starts to laugh. �How short of a leash does he have you on anyway?� She opens the door and stops short. �Can you believe he even came by here to see if you�ve stopped by. I guess he figures now that you two are sleeping together you�re a creature of habit. She starts to close the door when he begins to speak again. �Do you compare sexual pleasuring mental notes in your head Alexis? Sonny�s great at this in bed but, his little brother Ric, well he really knows how to hit that spot.� Alexis doesn�t think twice as she turns around, walks across the room and seriously slaps Ric across the face. He puts his hand over his cheek. �Sorry Alexis wrong brother we never played the rough sexually games in bed.� �You disgust me.� She said with a sickening tone as she once again turned to leave. �I�ll be by Friday evening to pick Molly up for the weekend.� He laughed sarcastically. �Kristina is more then welcome to come as well.� Alexis stopped at the front door and with her back to him replied. �You can take that issue up with your brother when you come to pick her up. I�m sure he�d be happy to enlighten you.� *^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ �Viola I�m home.� Alexis said walking into the lake house. �Sorry I�m late. I hope you feed the girls.� She picked up the house phone and started to dial out. �Where the hell have you been all day?� Sonny irately asked walking up behind her. �You don�t answer your phone, you deliberately lose my men, and then you what hide your car on them?� Alexis hung up the phone. �Did I miss something?� �Don�t play games with me Alexis. You know there are men out there who will shot first and not bother to ask questions later.� He pulls her into a hug and then lets her go. �What could you possibly be thinking?� She takes her jacket off and hangs it over the back of a chair. �If you must know I was thinking I had to be in court early.� She hands him her cell phone. �My cell died on me while talking to a client. I didn�t know I lost your men. My car which is actually in Nikolas�s name is in the shop. I have a rental�. which on my way home found out the heat doesn�t work. I stopped by Ric�s to pick up my daughter only to find out she isn�t there. And to top my day off I come home to an ex-client slash lover who decides to give me the third degree, as thou I was his ex-wife Carly, as soon as I walk through my own front door.� She walks past him. �Is there anything else you�d like to drill me on.� �Back up.� Sonny says. �When did you go to Ric�s?� She sits on the couch and takes off her shoes. �Just before I came home, why?� �Ric had Molly today?� �If you were around last night you would have known I dropped her off just before bedtime.� Sonny closes his eyes and shakes his head. �Trevor�s playing games with me and I don�t like it.� He puts his hands on her face and brings her lips to his. She pulls back stopping him from kissing her. �You yell at me for something I didn�t even do, which you don�t even say your sorry for and then you mumble something about Trevor playing games and you expect me to kiss you. � He puts his lips against hers, lightly kissing them and then pulling back. �I�m sorry.� he kisses her again. �I didn�t mean to yell at you.� another light kiss hits her lips. �I shouldn�t have given you the third degree.� followed by another. �I�m just really glad your okay.� �That�s better.� She says rewarding him with a real hot and heavy kiss. �Mommy your home.� Kristina yelled jumping up in between the two of them. �I�m glad your okay Ms Davis.� Viola says walking out with Molly in her arms. Alexis kissed the top of Kristina�s head and handed her off to Sonny before taking Molly from Viola. �Will somebody please tell me what happened today?� Alexis asked looking directly at Sonny. �Molly spent the morning with her grandpa.� Kristina shot out. �Can I go to the park with her, daddy Ric and grandpa next time?� �Ric let Molly spend time with his father?� Alexis asked getting extremely upset. Sonny placed Kristina on the floor. �Viola why don�t you take the girls into the kitchen and get them their dessert?� �Come on girls, let�s go get some ice cream.� Viola said taking Molly�s hand. The girls took off towards the kitchen. �Okay Sonny spill. What is Kristina talking about?� �You have to promise me you aren�t going to get upset.� �To late.� He took her hands in his. �I ran into Trevor and Molly in the park earlier today and he made it sound like he found her just wandering around by herself.� Getting more upset then before. �Are you telling me Ric wasn�t even with them.� �I didn�t see him.� Alexis starts to get up but Sonny holds her down. �The important thing to remember right now is that your safe, Molly is safe and Kristina is safe.� �What would posses Ric to let Trevor take Molly?� Alexis asked showing her paranoid side. �I don�t know what happened between Trevor and Ric but I will deal with it in the morning.� Sonny said softly trying to calm her down. �He has Molly this weekend.� Se say getting up and walking over to the phone. �And that so isn�t going to happen. Sonny walks behind her and takes the phone and replaces on it�s receiver. �Let him take her �..� Alexis looked at him like he lost his mind. He puts his hands on her shoulders and walks her back over to the couch. �And I will send two of my best men with her.� There�s a knock on the door and Sonny goes to answer it. �Is Alexis here?� Jax asked rather coldly. �Depends on what you want?� �I need to talk to her Corinthos.� He pushes past him. �So move out of my way.� �Hey Jax.� Alexis say without any enthusiasm. �What brings you by?� Jax joins her on the couch. �Are you okay?� �She�s fine.� Sonny said annoyed. �We were in the middle of something, so why don�t you just tell her what you came for and be gone.� �Sonny be nice.� Alexis said �This matter doesn�t concern your live in mobster.� Jax replied. �Jax it isn�t like that, we aren�t living together.� Alexis corrected. �That�s a matter of opinion.� Sonny smirked Alexis gave Sonny an evil look. �Why don�t you go check on the kids dear.� �Check on the kids dear.� Jax mocked as Sonny reluctantly walked into the other room. �Alexis just what is going on between the two of you.� Alexis bit the bottom of her lip. �Didn�t you say you needed to talk to me about something?� �You�re changing the subject.� �Actually you did.� He looked at her and smiled. �Fine, if you don�t want to talk about what�s going on between you and Sonny I�ll drop it for now. But I really hope you know what your getting yourself into.� �I believe that�s what I told you about Carly.� �My point exactly.� Jax shot back. �You told me not to marry Carly because she will always be in love with Sonny and there�s a connection there that nobody can break. And I hate to say it but you were right. Sonny and Carly will always hold a bond that won�t allow anybody else really in.� Alexis knew deep down in her that he was right, but she just couldn�t bare to hear it right now. Thing between her and Sonny were going great and for the first time in her life she had what she always wanted. A loving family. �Jax I don�t mean to be inhospitable but Sonny and I were in the middle of something rather important, so if you could just tell me why you stopped by. I�d appreciate it.� �There�s some money missing in one of my off shore accounts.� �I don�t see how I can help you with that.� She says plainly. �I think Jerry is behind it.� �You think he�s stealing from you?� She asked. �I think he�s desperate Alexis. Something or somebody must have spooked him enough for him to go to these lengths.� �I still don�t see how I can help you.� �I need to know if he gets into any trouble you�d be willing to help him.� Jax said almost pleading. �Legally speaking that is.� �Jax you are my dearest friend, you should know, no matter how I feel about your brother. I will do anything to help you.� Jax stands to leave. �Thank you Alexis I just needed to hear you say that.� She gets up and walks him to the door. �And Jax believe it or not I do believe Carly loves you and I really think things will work out between the two of you.� He kisses her cheek before leaving. �Be careful with Corinthos, huh?� �You do know that Australian you hold so dear to heart doesn�t speak the truth.� Alexis jumped upon hearing Sonny�s voice. �What untruth are you talking about?� �Carly and I no longer share the same bond we once had.� She walks over and stands in front of him. �And why were you eavesdropping?� He takes her in his arms. �I�m a very jealous man.� He pulls her into a kiss. �So get use to it.� �Just like you have conversations with people that you don�t want me knowing anything about.� She kisses his lips lightly. �I have clients who you need to know nothing about.� �Fair enough.� �So if things between us are going to work, there are a few things we need to go over.� �Like?� he asked pulling her closer to himself. �Like if I have to understand you dismissing me from a room you have to understand the same thing.� �I can handle that.� He replies kissing her neck. �Everything besides our other wise private life is on a need to know basis.� He looks her in the eyes. �That�s what I love about you Alexis. The fact that not only do you understand but except that fact.� Alexis didn�t know what to say as the words �love about you� came out of Sonny�s mouth and she didn�t even know if he realized what he said. �Is there anything else councilor?� �What?� She said coming out of the daze he put her in. �Um not that I can think of at the moment.� �Good.� He said unbuttoning her shirt. �Sonny we really need to get back to what we we�re talking about earlier.� �Everybody�s safe Alexis.� He says kissing lower down her neck. �I�ll deal with the rest tomorrow.� �Sonny.� Alexis moaned as his kisses made their way closer to her chest. �Mommy mommy.� Kristina says running out from the kitchen. �Guess what?� Sonny turned his body so Alexis could lean up against him and fix her shirt. �Michael called and said Uncle Sonny was taking him fishing this weekend and he asked me if I wanted to go.� �Of course you�re going to go with us.� Sonny said picking her up. �I wouldn�t leave my number one girl behind.� �Does that mean mommy�s coming with us?� Kristina asked with glee. �Mommy will think about it.� Alexis said to Kristina as she gave Sonny a look that told him otherwise. Sonny puts her down and pats her on her butt. �You finished with your ice cream?� She shakes her head yes. �Then go brush your teeth.� Sonny said making a funny face at her. Kristina made a funny face back while running out of the room. �I love you daddy.� �Daddy loves you too.� He yelled back as he grabbed Alexis and pulled her in. �What do you say we go into the other room?� �And do what?� She asked playfully �I�m sure will find something to do.� |
