| Everything that's going on GH (Oct 2007) is still happening. Alexis and the girls live with Nikolas, He's still out of control and nobody knows why, and Trevor Lansing is in town causing still that rift between Ric and Sonny.
CHAPTER 1 It had been a very long day and Alexis Davis was extremely tired. You could tell how much so in every step she took heading down the docks and towards the launch. She really hated the fact that she had to move out of her own place and back into the mausoleum she and her two younger daughters now called home. And all thanks to her mobster ex-client whom she decided one night would be okay to have sex with. She grabbed the back of her neck as the thought of her and Sonny Corinthos in bed together came across her mind. What on earth was she thinking? How could one night bring her such misery, such contempt, such otter�.. Urrrr her thoughts spurted in her head as a smile came across her face. Such joy, such brightness, such complete��. �I�m sorry, I didn�t mean to scare you.� �Jax.� Alexis jumped �I�m the one who should be apologizing.� She leans over her shoulder and kisses him on he cheek. �I didn�t hear you coming.� �I noticed.� He grinned. �You seemed lost in your thoughts. One can only hope you were thinking about me.� She tired to hide her smile. �But of course.� �So what brings you out so late at night?� �I was heading home. And yourself?� He looked at his watch �I got side tracked at the Metro Court, and knew Carly wouldn�t be to happy about me missing dinner.� �So you decided to come to your sense and just not go back home.� She laughed and kissed his cheek again.� �You know you�re lucky I love you so much, or I wouldn�t allow you to get away with talking about my wife like that.� Alexis just smiled and started walking forward. �So you have any idea when this mob war is going to end?� �Oh come on Alexis, you�re smart enough to know this war can only end one way and one way only.� Her smile quickly faded. �Well I�d hate to see it end that way.� �Speaking of the devil himself.� Jax looked up causing Alexis�s eyes to follow. �Two timing already Jasper?� �Alexis and I are friends weather you like it or not Sonny.� Sonny just dismissed Jax and looked over at Alexis. �We need to talk��NOW!� �She not your attorney anymore Sonny, you can�t talk to her like that!� �Jax it�s okay I can handle him.� Alexis quickly replied stepping between the two of them. Jax gives Sonny the evil eye whiling pulling Alexis back away from him. I don�t like the idea of leaving you alone with him when he�s in this mood.� �Jax it�s been a really long day, I�m really tired and the sooner I deal with him the sooner I�ll be able to go home crawl into bed, grab Kristina�s favorite stuffed animal she left for me on my pillow and put this day behind me.� Jax looks back at Sonny. �As long as that�s the only thing you crawl into bed with.� Alexis playfully hits him on his chest. �Goodnight Jax.� �Goodnight Alexis.� He kisses her, gives Sonny that you better be nice to her look, which Sonny shrugs off, and reluctantly walks away. She throws her hands up in the air and turns around. �Please don�t start.� �Did I say anything.� She clinches her fists together. You�ve got five minutes Corinthos, what do you want.� �I need your help.� She looks at him and particular busted out laughing. �Please��Please don�t tell me you want my professional help.� �Alexis, Diane can�t handle what I need her to do.� �Then find somebody else�.anybody else�Scott comes to mind� She yelled. �I don�t have time to look for attorneys and your already a part of this like it or not.� �Well I don�t.� She looks at him like she wants to strangle him. �What is it that you need?� �Ric�s been hinting around that he has something on me and I need�..� �NO!, NO Sonny! Absolutely not.� �Alexis please�..� �No I won�t do it��.. I will not get involved in your problems with your brother again.� Sonny tires to talk but Alexis won�t let him. �I just got my daughter back and I�m not going to risk alienating him�.not for you�� not for anybody.� �Alexis you don�t understand.� �Oh Sonny I do understand. I understand more then anybody in this darn town understands�. And I refuse to go down that emotional cervical road anymore.� �Alexis you know I wouldn�t ask for your help if I didn�t desperately need it.� She calmly walks over to him and grabs the sides of his face. �Sonny, I know how hard it is for you to ask anybody for help�. And probably harder giving our history to ask me of all people�but I have to think about what�s best for my children first and foremost and I�m sorry but getting caught between you and your brother ��.isn�t best for either of the girls. It�s bad enough they are in constant danger thanks to who you are and now who Molly�s grandfather is�.it�s like a no win situation and every time I turn around it gets worst�am sorry Sonny but I can�t risk it�.� �I�m at the end of my rope with him Alexis and I don�t know what to do., He�s only going to make matters worse if I can�t get through to him�..this isn�t a game Alexis and he needs to know that! � �Have you tired talking to him yourself?� �Of course I have, but ever since his father hit town he�s been nothing but totally unreasonable.� �Just because the man won�t surpass to your every word doesn�t make him unreasonable Sonny.� Sonny gently reaches out and holds both of hands. �Alexis I really need your help.� With a slight tear in her eye. �I�m sorry Sonny.� She removes her hands from his. �I can�t help you.� She turns and walks away. |
