CHAPTER 4

Hope jumps out of bed and runs down the hall as she hears Ciara cry. The closer she gets to her room the more she realizes its more of a scream then a cry. Its like everything is being played in slow motion and she cant get to her door fast enough. Something is so wrong and everything in her being is telling her that. She finally makes it to her door but its locked, she pushes so hard on the door that she hurts her shoulder and it starts to bleed but she doesnt care she continues to push harder and harder on the door as Ciaras screams become more pronounce and full of fear. Im coming baby girl mommys coming. She hollered over and over again with each push against the door. Suddenly the door opens as thou there was something blocking it that now is gone. The screaming stops and this frightens her even more than ever so she opens the door very slowly. She is startled when she shes a man dressed in black with a ski mask over his face holding her little girl, who is slumped over in his arms. What did you do to my baby? She yells as she holds out her arms. Give her to me. She screams ever louder. Give me my babyBO, BO dont let him take her. She screams so loud as he with Ciara in arm jumps out the window so fast she didnt even have time to react. Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

Hope, Hope wake up. Bo says as he picks her up off her shoulder and lays her head against his chest. Its okay Im here, nobody is going to hurt you.

Noooooooooooo!!! She yells louder

Hope you need to wake up. Bo replies scared to death of what it is thats going through her mind.

Bring her back. She screamed so loud that Ciara who was down the hall started to cry. Ciara. Hope yelled as she opened her eyes.

Hey there. Bo said in a calming voice. You okay.

She pushed out of his arms with such force and jumped out of bed and ran down the hall so fast she almost ran into Ciaras bedroom door. Quickly she picked Ciara up and held her as close to her as possible. Its okay baby mommys here.

Bo came running through the door seconds later and walked over behind Hope and held her tightly. Half because he was afraid shed drop to her knees at any second and half because she scared him so much he didnt know what else to do.

They both stood there for a few minutes before he was able to convince her to bring Ciara into their room and place her between the two of them so she could get back to sleep. Hopes feet didnt seem like they wanted to move so Bo picked the two of them up and carried them into bed. Ciara fell back to sleep as soon as her head hit Hopes pillow. Hopes eyes however appeared to be glued open as she continued to stare at her daughters beautiful face without so much as blinking once. Bo wasnt sure what just happened but he knew there was no way he was going to be able to separate mother and child and that was fine with him as long as Hope calmed down. However he wished he knew how to make her feel at peace again. Even thou there wasnt much room left on Hopes side of the bed he decided it was very important that he held her at that very moment . So he carefully laid his body down on the bed and leaned it against her back. He gently brought his one arm over her body and held onto Ciaras little finger. Hopes face didnt change a bit but she took her one hand off of Ciara and grabbed a hold of Bos forearm and held it tight which gave Bo a strange yet peaceful feeling.

Later on that morning Bo is downstairs in the kitchen feeding Ciara when there is a knock on the kitchen door. Bo wipes Ciaras face and then gets up and answers it.

Is everything okay? Marlena asks as she hugs Bo.

Thank you so much for coming Marlena, Im sorry its so early but I didnt know who else to call.

Marlena smiles at Ciara as she takes a seat at the table. Bo its not a problem what can I help you with?

(You see Hope walk up to the kitchen door and stop to listen in)

Its Hope she keeps having this same nightmare over and over again and I dont know what to do to help her.

Whats the nightmare about?

Bo takes Marlenes hand and they walk over by the fridge. I didnt know at first because she kept blowing me off when I asked her about them but after last night Im sure it has to do with Ciara and something bad happening to her.

(Hope walks away from the door and heads back up stairs)

Bo after everything that Hope has gone through between Zacks death, finding out JT wasnt her son and then losing him to the Reibers all the way back to miscarrying her first child.

That and the fact that Shawn, Belle and Claire left town. Bo interrupts. Its no wonder shes scared to death something is going to happen to Ciara but I didnt ask why she was having these nightmares Marlena I asked what I can do to help her.

I know your frustrated and all but if you want to help her you have to calm down.

Bo slams his hand down on the counter. You know this is all my fault.

How do you figure that?

Ive let her down so many times in the past and if I hadnt she wouldnt be feeling so out of control and scared to death about losing her daughter.

You cant blame yourself for what Hope is feeling, it isnt your fault.

He walks over and picks up Ciara.

Why dont I go up and talk to Hope?

They walk into the living room. Bo looks up the stairs. Hopefully shes still sleeping.

Hope is standing in Ciaras bedroom looking out the window. She takes a second look when she sees something in the bushes move. It looks too big to be a cat or a rabbit but too small to be a person. She rubs up her arms as goose bumps shiver into her back and down her arms. She jumps and turns when she hears a loud thump behind her. She doesnt see anything unusually so she walks over and stands in the bedroom doorway, she takes a deep breath and relaxes slightly when she notices a book fall off a nearby table. She walks back into the room and is more unsettled when shes almost positive she saw a figure jump the back fence.

I was hoping youd still be asleep.

She nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard his voice. Bo dont do that to me.

He runs over and grabs a hold of her.

Wheres Ciara? She panics.

Shes fine. Bo replies trying to hold her tight and calm her down. Shes downstairs with Marlena.

Her breathing was getting heavier and heavier and he knew he had to do something before she went into an all out panic attack. Hey hey look at me. He yelled as he pulled her face to his. I promise you shes okay.

I want my baby. Hope screamed as loud as she could for a person unable to catch her breath.

Hope sweetie shes right here. Marlena said as she ran into the room and handed her to her.

Bo continued to hold her tight as his eyes meet with Marlenes and they both spoke volumes to the others.
