| November 2002 UPDATE 11/24/2002 I have acquired a high quality picture of the 'Dream Jets' (Star Jets) Delta 'Atlanta 1996' MD-11. Its very nice! All the Herpa releases for January + February are now known, and are listed in the Herpa Regular Release News section, with pictures! It has also been announced that in the new year, Herpa will release the Cathay Pacific Airbus A340-600. As usual, it will be for sale only from Cathay Pacific. UPDATE 11/21/2002 More of the Herpa January + February releases are now known. So far they are: Air Do 'Planet' Boeing 767-300ER (JA01HD) | Philippine Airlines Boeing 747-400 (N651PR) | Qatar Airways Airbus A320-200 | Aeroflot Boeing 777-200ER | KLM 'Meerkoet' Boeing 737-900 (PH-BXR) | America West Airlines 'Ohio' Boeing 757-200 (N905AW). Star Jets are said to be releasing another unlicenced model under the name of 'Dream Jets' that is similar to the Cathay Pacific TriStar that they have already released. It is a Delta Airlines 'Atlanta' MD-11. The price is said to be around $300 HKD. UPDATE 11/06/2002 The next Big Bird model is the ANA 'Marine' Boeing 747-400D. It will be released sometime this month! Pictures when I have them. UPDATE 11/05/2002 Herpa has released a Philippine Airlines set that is made up of two NG models, these are the Airbus A340-300, and the Boeing 747-400. They will be sold in flight. Also being released by Herpa is another NG Aero Lloyd A321, but this time, it is in the other 'Official Carrier Of FC Bayern Munchen' colour scheme. Photographs � Collectors Station. |

| December 2002 UPDATE 12/20/2002 Star Jets' unlicenced arm, Dream Jets has released a second model. This is the Air Canada 'Toronto Raptors' Airbus A320-200. The price is currently unknown, but it is very nice. UPDATE 12/17/2002 More Big Bird releases have been released today, they are: China Airlines O/C 747-300, there are two different registration numbers available, each limited to 250 pieces. Each costs HK $280. The other model is limited to 500 pieces, and is the Qantas 747-400 that wears a British Airways livery with the Denmark World Images tail, this is again HK $280. Pictures here when I have them. UPDATE 12/16/2002 The next Big Bird model to be released before Christmas has been released. It is the Singapore Airlines O/C 747-300. It has been released with three different registration numbers, two numbers are limited to 750 models, where the other is 250 models. In order to get all three, you have to buy the two 750 piece models, and then you have the option to buy the 250 piece model. Also, some of the new, and very Australian Star Jets releases have been announced. They are the Australian Airlines Boeing 767-300ER, the Qantas Boeing 747-400ER, and the Qantas 'Formula 1' Boeing 747-400. More releases on here when they are announced! UPDATE 12/06/2002 The next Big Bird model has now been released. It is the #2002-29 ANA 'Marine' Boeing 747-400D, that is available for HK$328. A picture has now been added, its very nice as usual!! |
