WHAT IS JUST A BUCK COMICS?
Well all I can say is it is just what it sound like. Great comics that
you will be able to get your hands on that only cost a dollar.
OK SO THEY ARE CHEAP, BUT WILL THE STORIES AND ART BE CHEAP?
Not at all. JABC are very high quality one-shots by amateurs and pros
alike in the comic industry. Just because it’s cheaper then most
of the comics on the market today doesn’t mean you won’t get
the same great value with these books.
WHAT WILL JABC LOOK LIKE FOR ONLY A $1.00?
Well they will all be b&w cover and interiors with 16 pages of story.
Don’t be fooled by the format they will be of the highest level of
quality as anything out on the market today. We just don’t want you
to spend all of your lunch money on them.
HOW MANY COMICS WILL BE PUBLISHED?
At first we are going to keep the number down to see what you guys like
and don’t like. There will only be a few printed out a month and
only in print runs of 2500 each. All JABC will be one-shots. We are not
looking for mini series or on-going titles at this time. If you can’t
tell the story you want in 16 pages don’t send it our way.
CAN THESE BE TITLES OR CHARACTERS THAT HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED BEFORE?
If you can prove that you own the rights and we won’t end up in some
long pricy court battle by all means send it our way.
WHY SO LITTLE OF A PRINT RUN?
There again we don’t want to go overboard if there isn’t a demand.
This is what the business world call supply and demand. You can also look
at it like this. With a small print run the chance of get your hands on
a collector’s item is very good.
WHERE WILL I BE ABLE TO BUY THE JABC?
For now we are only going to offer them through conventions and the JABC
site, but a few may pop up in other locations but we don’t know at
this time. Some creators may get them put in their local stores possibly,
but that is up to them. When ordering through the website, please

The first Just A Buck book, TEMPLE & NASH is now available for ordering
online.
DO YOU TAKE UNSOLICITED SUBMISSIONS FOR STORY IDEAS?
Yes we do.
WHAT DO I NEED TO SEND YOU?
Ok it’s pretty easy to submit, but you have to follow the directions
to a tee. We don’t have time to overlook anybody that didn’t
provide us with what we asked for.
A. We need to see at least five (5) pages of completed artwork and at least two cover concepts. The reason we like to see two covers are because we like to choose the best one to use. The more we have to choose from, the better the chances of getting something that will catch the eye of the person that may skip it by.
B. We need to have a one page synopsis of the story and the complete script to read over. If you bore us then I’m afraid you will bore the reader.
NOTE: You must have your own complete art team put together. We don’t have the time to find you the right artists for the job. We just publish the books not produce them. If you need some help in the lettering and pre-press department, we can help with that.
IF PICKED WILL I MAKE ANY MONEY?
I hope we all can make a little money off of these books. I don’t
think anyone will be getting rich, but after we recoup our spending for
the printing we will split the profits with the owner of the title. Now
it’s up to the creator to pay everyone that worked on the title,
not us. So don’t come hunting us down with fire in your eyes if
you don’t get paid.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO KNOW IF YOU LIKE MY STORY?
That’s hard to tell. We are very busy, but will try and contact
you if we want to or feel that we can’t use your story. Please don’t
contact us we will let you know one way or the other.

Well you’ve made it this far so it’s only fair to tell you that we are working very hard to get the site up, but for the most part, we are a very small staff with lots of things to do. This site is only a temporary one, and we should have the actual one up and running very soon with information on some of the titles and creators that will have books coming out this year.
