Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters - Elton John

I chose the song "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters" for my first layout because that song was what inspired the name for my website ("And now I know, Spanish Harlem are not just pretty words to say"). The words between the pictures of Mona Lisa and the Mad Hatter are the words to the chorus of the song.

Palm Tree Dreams - The Little Mermaid

I had been looking for a picture of a palm tree for my layout, and finally found this one that I liked. I decided I wanted bright summer colors that matched. When I finished the picture of the palm tree, cutting it out and copying the other pictures to the right of it, I decided it still didn't look right. I typed out the words to "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid (as that was the beachiest song I could think of that I liked), and that became the main title to my website. It also just really fit what I was feeling at the time.

Autumn Dancer - Stargirl

I started out with two pictures: the dancer and the trees. I merged them all together making what you see in the layout. I added the flower, and chose some fallish-colors. I couldn't think of a song that really fit, but I was looking through my books and came across "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli. I thought it was perfect. So, that is how it came to be. Happy Autumn!

I fell in love with this song "She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5 the first time I heard it. It just put a big smile on my face. When I made this layout, I wasn't feeling to great about stuff, so it's a tad depressing. But I liked it, so I used it. It's five pictures; the background, the girl, the room with rain, the dandelion, and then there's a design that was opacified over top. So if it looks a little weird, that's why. I hope you like it.

Ok, so I'm sorry I left the Christmas layout up so long. So shoot me. Actually, please don't. I just didn't have time to work on it. Anyways, yeah. I just liked the movie "Elf" and the "Santa's coming" part was my favorite (after his singing "I love you I love you I LOVE YOU" ;-)). So that was my Christmas through April layout. Yay.

Originally, this was to be a layout for the song "I'll Cover You (Reprise)" from Rent because that's my favorite, but I couldn't find any pictures that I liked to go with it. Maybe someday. But I was singing this song, and decided I liked how it fit with the pictures of the dancers. It just looked nice. If you've never heard the song, you won't get the layout. There's 525,600 minutes in a year.

Aaaaaaaand I'm just a bit "Renthead"ish. Sorry guys. But this song just makes me laugh every time I hear it. IT'S SO FUNNY! This layout is also in protest of the fact that they are moving the movie date back to November 23rd. Damn them all, those bastards. It had BETTER be good. Especially if I'm going to go dressed up. Yes. I ♥ Cary Shields. ~sigh~ He is so hot.
