Here I am to say HELLO to the world!!!! June 15, 2002 Daddy got to feel me kick today!!! Happy Father's Day Daddy!!!! June 7, 2002 Mommy says not a lot is new today... I'm growing healthy. Mommy talked to her doctor today about when and how I'll be born... and they agreed that Mommy is gonna have some operation to get me out... I think it's called a c-section. Mommy hopes to find out at her next doctor appointment what day she will finally get to hold me. May 6, 2002 My Mommy and Daddy are so happy!!! I'm gonna let Mommy talk today tho... Oh what a day!!!! I didn't have to lie on one of those hard office tables... I got to lie on a stretcher for the ultrasound.. and they had a TV monitor on the wall so I could watch the whole time... The ultrasound tech was AWESOME!!! She answered all our questions and she had unbelievable patience with not only us but our little musician... Baby Allen had "his" hands at "his" sides and when she would go to look at "his" face "he'd" put "his" hands in the way.. and when she'd look away "he'd" put "his" hands back at "his" sides... She measured everything she was supposed to and some things she didn't think "he'd" show her... We saw the heart, kidneys, bladder, stomach, the start of the belly button where the umbilical cord is connected, placenta, spine and the blood flow through the umbilical cord. Baby Allen kept "his" knees to his chest tho.. so she pushed on my tummy real hard with the ultrasound "wand" and finally got "him" to move around a bit.. "he" did a slight roll and she said, "oh.. wait... oh.. nevermind I think that's the umbilical cord again..." but she kept trying.. and eventually she did a freeze frame and pointed to an area on the screen and said... "What does that look like to you?" I sat there dumbstruck... I had no idea what I was looking at and finally she said... "Well Mom.. Looks like you have yourself a BOY" I said "YES!!!! I told ya!!!" Then Mommy had her doctor's appointment and I got bugged again by something poking at me and invading my space... so I kicked it... I guess from what my Mommy says it was something called a Doppler and they were trying to listen to my heartbeat... my big brother Edwin and big sister Caitlyn were happy to hear me... Just wait until they have me following them EVERYWHERE!!! So.. I guess that's it! Oh! I almost forgot!!! My name is Devlin Mikhail Allen... Nice to meetcha! My new picture is on the photo page. April 30, 2002 Mommy talked to Johnna at her doctor's office today and found out that she has to go to Desert Samaritan Hospital on Monday, May 6 at 11:15 AM so she can see me again on that computer thingie!!! She's so excited.. and still hoping to find out what my name is!!! *giggles* April 24, 2002 Hey guess what??? Mommy and Daddy found out they get to see my again on that computer thingie!!! Apparently since all I wanted to show was my butt and I was so busy with my drums the doctor didn't get enough.. what did Mommy call them?... Anatomy pics?.. Whatever those are... but Mommy and Daddy and Big Brother Edwin and Big Sister Caitlyn are excited! They are hoping maybe I'll tell them if I'm a Devlin or a Suisan!!! *giggle* We'll see! My Mommy and Daddy wanted to share their good news with the world! What's their good news? They're waiting for me to make my arrival into their loving and waiting arms on September 19, 2002! My big brother Edwin and big sister Caitlyn are just as excited! And boy were they happy when they got to go in with my Mommy and Daddy to see my first pictures!!! My Mommy and Daddy were a little disappointed with me though.. I was so busy playing my air drums that I forgot to open my legs and let them know if I'm a Devlin Mikhail or a Suisan Nathalie... OOOPS! But I was having fun!!! Have YOU ever tried playing the air drums??? You should! It's a blaaaaaaaaast!!!! I have set up a baby registry and wish list..
