Food: They prefer large insects such as beetles, crickets, spiders and flying ants
Distribution: SW Syria, S Lebanon, N Israel, NW Jordan.
Habitat: Sandy habitat
Color Discription: Black Agama is actually not entirely black. This striking lizard has beautiful orange markings the Black Agama often appears as horizontal stripes across their backs and tails. Their legs will either have orange spots or spots that have fused to form bands.

Breeding/Reproduction: Black Agamas lay a clutch of eggs in June. Clutch sizes range from 6 - 8 eggs. These eggs incubate for several months and hatch between August and September.
