Distribution: SW China (W Yunnan, Guizhou)

Habitat: Native to the Himalayan rainforest, to 9800 feet.

Color Discription: They range from brown to green. When exited, the brown males will turn green with a dark stripe running from the eye to the shoulder.

Physical Discription: Their bodies are slightly compressed laterally. Their tails are almost twice the length of their body. A low crest runs along their back from their head down their tail. The scales on the back are large, shingled, and keeled. The scales on the belly are also keeled.

Size: These lizards range in size from 6" - 16"

Temperatures/Humity: room temperature, and they require a humid habitat.

Breeding/Reproduction:

Cage Setup: Branches, cut logs and rocks for them to climb on for basking.

Water: a dish for drinking fresh water
