Habitat: Forests in flat lowland and hilly areas.

Color Discription: olive green-grey in colour, and the male has a grey-white, medium-sized gular flag with a reddish base. The neck lappets are also reddish in color.

Physical Discription: They are able to glide because on each side of the body there is a wide flap of skin (the patagium) supported by movable elongated ribs. Males of the genus also have a throat fan or gular flag.
