Distribution: S Thailand (south of Isthmus of Kra), West Malaysia (incl. Pulau Tioman), Indonesia (Sumatra, Borneo, Natuna Island)

Habitat: lowland primary and secondary rainforests.

Color Discription: greenish in colour. The male possesses a long black gular flag, which the female lacks. The patagium is brownish-black covered with yellow spots.

Physical Discription: They are able to glide because on each side of the body there is a wide flap of skin (the patagium) supported by movable elongated ribs. Males of the genus also have a throat fan or gular flag.
