Having being a fan of hip-hop and putting thoughts to paper for years I decided to take all the nonsense I had written over the time and make it rhyme. I wrote a song that i called "biggest sin" and rapped it over the Atmosphere Instrumental, Fuck you Lucy. I 'performed' it (if you could call it that) at the St. Kilda Duke, and the few people that were there (i.e. my mates) said they liked it. This gave me the drive to put a little more effort into it. I showed Steve what I could do, recorded some stuff in Wunda's "2 minute Studio" and the rest, as they say, was history. Ever since those beginnings I've been killing pens trying to achieve something worth writing home about. Theres something soothing in writing thats why i keep doing it. Take whatever is on your mind at the time and share it with the world. All we need now is someone to listen, whether you understand it or not, I don't mind, it makes me feel better. |
