Four Thoughts
“I can’t.”
Shit. The kid. Logan thinks looking around. Iceman and Pyro can take care of themselves. Besides, contact with their skin won’t put anybody in fucking coma. I’ll never forgive myself if they take her.
“Who the hell called the cops?” Rogue asks.
“No telling,” Iceman says.
Rogue looks at Logan. He looks worried and she wonders if it is for her, or just because of everything that is happening around them. She hopes it’s because of her, which conflicts with all of her emotions about Bobby. Cause I like Bobby I really do, but when Logan is looking at me, like that, it’s too much. And what if they get him? And take him back to whatever was going on when they did those experiments on him? I know he’s dreaming about it more. I can’t be the only one dreaming about it. I’ll never forgive myself if they take him.
Bobby glances over at Rogue. Just quick enough to see her staring. At Wolverine. And Wolverine is staring at her. He’s just worried about her is all, he reasons with himself. He tries to suppress the jealousy he feels and concentrate on the task at hand, getting out of here alive.
Pyro looks around at the people standing in front of him. Shit. Love triangle. “Hey guys, sorry to break up all the staring and shit, but how the hell are we getting out of here?”
