Gambit watched as Rogue talked to the man on the motorcycle. He didn�t seem to be her type. Tall dark and hairy, no. Tall, smooth and Cajun, now that was Miss Rogue�s type. So Remy has a hard time understanding what the Rogue is doing, throwing herself all over this stranger. Course the way she is throwing herself, he don�t seem like much of a stranger.
�Morning chere,� Remy said as he walked towards Rogue and the strange man. �Would you like to introduce the Gambit?�
�Of course, Remy,� Rogue said blushing. �Remy this is Wolverine.�
�So this is the man that takes up your every waking thought, provided you�re not with Remy?�
�Who is this guy, Marie?�
�Gambit is a new member of the X-Men. He also happens to be the mansion flirt from New Orleans.�
�Ah, you complement Remy too much.� Damn straight, Remy thought.
�The one you told me about on the phone?� Logan asked Rogue. Maybe Remy takes up more of her time than she admits.
�Yeah, this is him. So, you gonna come in or just sit outside forever?� she asked as she walked towards the door. �See you later Remy.�
�Don�t forget about tonight chere,� Remy said giving Rogue a huge smile.
�Wouldn�t miss it for the world, sugar.�
Gambit watched as Rogue and the Wolverine went inside. The feelings stirring in his stomach weren�t just butterflies about his cover story for her surprise party later on that night.

Remy walked into the hallway just as Storm was leaving the library.
�Oh, hello Goddess.�
�Hello Remy, what�s wrong?� Storm asked.
�Mi chere, her wolf man is back.�
�Really? I didn�t hear Logan pull up.�
�Well, he is here and she is showing him to his room.�
�And you�re not happy with it.�
�Should Remy be?�
�I would think that you would be happy for her Remy. She hasn�t seen Logan in a very long time and today of all days he is here. It is quite a birthday present.�
�Storm, Remy�I want to be happy for her, but it is hard. I would do whatever it took to keep her here with me. I adore her, and I think that she does not adore me as much as him,� Remy dejectedly admitted.
�Remy, if you want my opinion, tell her how you feel. Tonight would be a good time, since you will be alone. Then give her time to make a decision.�
�Thank you Goddess,� Remy said leaving the hallway. He did not notice that outside it had started raining.
