| Chapter 1~Feel the Fog My name is Becca Jacobs. It all began on May 16, 2002 when me and my best friend, Kristy Sullivan�s class set off for our trip to Washington DC. Since we live in Brooklyn (NYC) it was about a 6 hour drive on our luxorious coach bus. It was a very cold, damp, foggy day-even for a Spring day in New York at 5:30 am. All of the kids stood rubbing their arms, hoping the chaperones would finish taking attendance soon. I yawned, �I�m tired and I�m freezing my butt off. Ain�t you?� I knew how Kristy would reply. Kristy was strong and couldn�t feel pain. She always answered, �Tough it up�. I dramatically sighed. Finally, the faculty let us board our assigned buses. Kristy got the window and I got the aisle. Kristy was so into music, you wouldn�t believe it. As soon as she was settled, she put on her headphones and turned on Dream Street. I talked to my friend, Jen across the aisle. The first 3 hours were torture. We got stuck watching Dude, Where�s My Car? which Kristy and I had gone to see, come to find out you had to be drugged to understand it. (sorry if you enjoyed that movie it was funny yet pointless) I talked and Kristy sang along with her music. We then all took a lunch break at a McDonalds in New jersey I think. When we got back, Kristy persuaded them into playing her all-time favorite movie, Newsies. (She loves the singing, dancing, comedy, drama, and of course the HOT guys!)
