| I turned my head. And I saw you. Yes I did. Right behind me. Right there. There you were beautiful as always There I was staring like a fool as always The wind blew and you lapsed just like time A fraction of my dream, captured in a fraction of a second Just like time I turned my head again And this time, I even dared to blink Yet what I saw remained there Yet what I saw didn't disappear What I saw was a long road that got lost with the horizon Sun was bright and faceless people all arround I wanted to turn back, and see if you were still there I wanted to turn back and run to you What I wanted to do was find my direction I wanted to take step, even though I knew I was lost But somehow I knew that the step I needed to take was not back Wherever it was I was going, wherever I needed to head. I needed to take a step I wishpered to my bleeding heart "Walk with me" And a step I took. |
