Chapter Two
Faith
She couldnt believe that she hadnt figured it before. It was pretty obvious especially when she stopped aging. Anyone with two bits of sense would have told her that she was immortal but no, she thought it was just the fountain of youth and she would die like the rest, one day, hopefully before Perfect. But, now it was out in the open and she couldnt camouflage the truth no more. But the thing that hurt most to Faith was that, not everyone was as stunted at hearing it as she had been. By everyone she meant Perfect of course. Perfect definitely had been shocked, and her face had turned pale, but Faith knew from past that it wasnt the face that said I cant believe what I am hearing but rather it was like I cant believe you are saying it out loud face. That, of course left only her to had been a fool for so many years. When everyone around her knew and she just walked around assuming it was just youth bullshit. Yes, she was the only fool.
If you are wondering that if I knew about it then you are right, I did. Piper said from behind.
Faith didnt turn around or even acknowledge her presence and she kept her stare steady on a distant horizon.
When Faith had cut Leos throat and run off, Piper had waited till the night fell then headed to the place where she knew Faith would ultimately end up. Once she was in the graveyard, undoubtedly she had found her Slayer sitting on top of the headstone that read Buffy M. Summer
At a point when Faith had to choose between Buffy and Piper, Faith had definitely chosen Piper, and never once looked back to regret that decision. With all the love Faith showered her with, she was content and secure even though Piper knew that a piece of Faiths heart always belonged to Buffy, which she could never reach. The piece that sometimes Faith visited in Buffys grave. But today she was in front of the grave for some other reason and Piper knew it too.
Are you wondering what if right now? Piper started with question that she knew Faith was juggling in her head along with the previous one.
What if you had never left Buffy the night she told you she loved you? What if you had never met me? What if, you had chosen Buffy instead of me? This day would never come and you wouldnt be cursed with immortality.
No, no Faith disagreed as she got off the stone head and walked up to her Perfect.
I have never wondered that. I would live eternities back to back just to re live every moment I have had with you. Dont even ever think that I would change anything of our lives because of what has happened. Faith begged as she held the face of the woman who taught her, what love was really about. You and you are the only one in my heart right now. I am not here because of B. Well, I am. I came here to apologize to B for not being able to save Specia -K. And if I am upset its because I have a feeling that you knew about my immortality in fact everyone knew and no one told me. Faith confessed as she held Piper closer to her, and sealed her words with a kiss that even after so many years still made her heart skip a beat.
Yes, I did. Piper confessed after the kiss as tears rolled down both their cheeks.
Or at least we had a feeling that Odans immortality must have passed on to you, but there was no way to prove our theory except for now, when that spear didnt kill you.
Piper traced her hand to the spot where the spear had gone through. There is still a scar here.
Yeah, and it is not the kind that will go away. Faith admitted as she stared down at the mark on her chest.
Life had given her many scars but she had always managed to fake a smile every time sadness had made a permanent residency in her heart, so the only way one could know that her laughter was a lie was with the physical scars she carried.
The numerous scars of beatings she had endured from her mother had remained with her even after she was called as a slayer and her body healed every wound except her scars. They had disappeared when she had found a home in Sunnydale. There she had endured another scar; the scar from the Buffys dragger, that had stabbed through her. But once her heart had given in to the charm of the eldest Charmed One, that scar had long disappeared too. But once again a scar had marked her body, and there was nothing anyone could do to heal it, as that scar marked the curse of immortality.
The world is going to end. Even if you are immortal, with the end of the world you will end too, eternity is not as long as you think. Piper tried to show hope to her crying lover.
When would that be? I know its near. It has been near for over two years now. And yet nothing ends except the people we love. Faith was crying aloud as she spoke out her mind. And if I have to watch you die, Perfect it would be worse than the pain of feeling my heart beat against that spear. At least then, I knew I was saving you, keeping you safe. But if you are not there, Ill die, my body might live but Ill die. You know that right. Ill die in everyway. The usually sturdy body was weakening with her every word as she limped onto her lover so much so that she was slipping onto her knees as tears were bursting out of both the women. I cannot go through that Perfect. I beg of you. I beg you to save me. Save me.
The Charmed One was also on her knees as she grabbed her shattered love. I will save you. Piper heard herself promise as she refused to loose Faith to immortality.
In the short time that Guinan had known Faith, she had realized that, Faith seemed to risk it all, more than once as though she was daring some higher power to punish her but when it didnt happen she would just use the magical dust that she possessed to clear the mess she created. That is why whenever she left, she left with no memories of her at all, but because Guinan had become a personal friend she was allowed to remember the once Dark Slayer.
Faith, please tell me what you are thinking? Guinan asked her friend who seemed to be very upset after she had come back from the holodeck.
What if I do change it? I mean change Sevens present and then change my past. Faith put words to her thought still lost trying to plan the specifics.
And what would that accomplice? Would that buy you death? Guinan asked knowing full well that all Faith had ever wanted was to die. Not to mention the fact that you dont even know what to change. If what you are doing is changing it or is it supposed to be exactly the way it should be happening.
Then what do I do G? I see Seven and I remember what I had, and I want it all back. I want to love again, I want that satisfaction and fulfillment that made me blind to everything else but just love. You know its so funny, I didnt even notice how sexy Sevens eyes were when I knew her as Annika. Faith asked sipping the Klignon ale that she had won from an ensign. Or may be I just miss Perfect a little too much right now. Faith reasoned for her aching heart.
May be its not Piper. May be finally your heart is actually making space for some other beauty. May be, JUST may be this has nothing to do with your past but just your present.
Yeah, and the irony is it has everything to do with my past Faith chuckled with another gulp of the ale.
Well, may be you are making it more complicated than it is. May be this is suppose to happen...
Yeah, what is supposed to happen? I should down and dirty with Seven who is clearly with Kathryn, who is the Captain of the ship. Let me guess in the tug of war Seven runs away to find her self in my past huh. Or let me guess, Kathryn finds a portal and throws her in the past. Or better yet, she doesnt even give a shit, and that is exactly the reason why she did what she did, to take revenge on me. And just in case, even though I am being to like Seven, I still dont regret what I did to her. Faith outlined the few scenarios as an outcome to her situation.
Faith smirked as she gave up on the feeling that had consumed her ever since the kiss. So, may be I should be exploring other options right now. Faith said gazing at the sexy Chief of Engineering who had just entered the mess hall in a completely figure hugging electric blue plunging dress that had a slit on one leg to expose her perfectly tanned thigh.
Oh I completely forgot they were having a surprise birthday party for the Captain in the mess hall tonight. I should go and get dressed. Guinan excused herself leaving her friend spellbound at the Lt. Mrs. Paris.
Only if you were not married I would have scooped you and kissed you right now. Faith confessed when Belanna came and sat right next to her.
Now, if you were not immortal I would have killed you for that thought. Lt. Paris who had walked in hand in hand with his wife said.
Oh! Yeah Tommy boy if jealous husbands could kill me, I would have died more times than I could count. Faith replied as she resumed to her alcohol.
Is that Klignon Ale? Lt. Toress asked recognizing the color of the Faiths drink.
Yep, got it from Ensign Nima. Faith replied.
I gave that to him in exchange for some extra time in the holodeck for our honey moon and that fool gives it to you. Belanna said eyeing the sip Faith was taking.
He didnt give it to me. I won it from him fair and square. Faith said as she twirled the drink in front of the already upset Klignon. If you want I can give you the remaining ale, just for one kiss. Faith offered pulling the bottle right in front of the couple she had become very friendly with.
Even though Faith had only arrived in the Voyager less than a week ago, Tom and Belanna had become instant friends with the Slayer who was open about her bisexuality and had no problem professing her interest in half the Voyager crew both men and women. Tom knew that Belanna had savored the ale forever, till she parted to get them more time for their honeymoon, so he knew she really wanted that ale. He also knew that if Belanna refused Faith would give it to her anyway, a little pervert at the back of his mind wanted to she a girl on girl action with his wife, so before Belanna could reply he spoke. Sure hun. What is a little kiss anyway.
No way. Belanna said hitting her husband with the back of her hand.
Thats ok. I didnt think so. Faith said holding the bottle to her friend. You can have it though.
Come on now, you cant just give it to her. You said a kiss. Dont tell me you are chickening out now? Tom said pushing Faith.
Tom! Belanna was glaring at her husband but Toms eyes were twinkling with anticipation.
Even though the Klignon hated putting a show for mens benefit, sometimes she found Tom like a little boy who always asked for too much of candy and Belanna was always more than willing to give it to him. So, right then if Tom wanted to see her kiss Faith, she decided she would.
Well, lets give him a show then, shall we? Belanna said as she moved closer to Faiths lips.
For the second time within a short period of couple of hours Faith found her tongue put to the one its best uses. Just as the kiss reached a deepening point the two women heard a aloud applaud. They broke their contact immediately.
Faith turned right away to see where the cheering was meant for just to catch Sevens glare right on her. If looks could kill, Sevens glare would have definitely killed Faith right then and there, but unfortunately not only that the looks could not kill, nothing could kill Faith so Faith just clapped with the crowd for the entrance of the Birthday girl with her girlfriend.
The Captain on the other hand was completely unaware of her distracted girlfriend as she went around the mess hall, thanking her crew for the thought and the gesture, not to mention all the gifts they had got for her. Seven hovered with Kathryn for a little bit, then once Kathryn found the company of Commander Tuvok, Seven excused herself and made her way to where Faith was sitting.
Are you upset because we intervened on your kiss? Seven asked seeing that Faith hadnt moved from her chair at all since they entered, not even to wish the Captain birthday.
Nah, it takes more than that to make me upset. Faith replied without bothering to look at the blonde.
You do not have respect for nuptials that you kiss a married woman.
Hey, in case no one informed you, kissing is a two way process. So, if I was kissing, I was being kissed back. As, long as that is true, its five by five with me. Faith said a little annoyed that Seven would even dare to approach her after what happened in the holodeck. At least she didnt run to the sick bay saying she might be damaged. Faith quoted the ex-Borgs words before she had left.
Kathryn and I are in a committed relationship. I should not kiss anyone other than her. Seven stated it as though it was some law she was reciting.
Well, you can say it was the song, or the moment. You made a mistake. Faith translated it in a more human form.
I do not make mistakes. That is why I needed to check if I was damaged.
Come on Seven you are human too right? And humans makes mistakes. Faith was getting agitated with the conclusions Seven was making of their kiss.
I am only 18% (Feel free to correct this number as I am not sure) human but I function with my Borg anomalies. Seven replied as though the thought of her being human was disgusting.
Faith stared at ex-Borg who she felt was definitely trying her best to look or sound as cold as she could, but even with a monotonous statements and the eyes that refused to blink, Faith had a feeling that the ex-Borg was fighting her own turmoil and this time she felt a little guilty for being the cause of. So, she decided not to press on the subject of her abrupt departure in the holodeck but rather ask something that she had being dying to find out ever she saw the Captain and Seven together.
Tell me one thing Seven, for a person who is Borg how the hell did you manage to shack the Captain?
I do not shack the Captain. Seven replied unable to understand Faiths jest.
I mean, how did you get into a relationship with the Captain? Faith rephrased.
Ensign Kim explained to me that I needed a mate. Then I did a computer search for a mate that was compatible with me. Kathryn was a perfect match. When I asked, she complied. Seven answered.
You mean you never felt uncontrollably crazy about her before you asked her? Faith asked a little shocked.
I do not loose control. If I do, then I am damaged. Seven answered.
Well, Seven guess what may be you are damaged because you kissed me. Now, you go and fix yourself while Ill fix myself. Faith said getting up and heading towards the Captain whom she hadnt wished yet.
What happened? She asked once her eyes fell on Mr. Giles and Ms. Rosenberg right next to Kaynard.
I should have never under estimated Piper. Why didnt I think that she would definitely guard the Nexus too? Not just the manor. I mean she must have guessed that someone from inside was betraying her otherwise, thats why she had the protection spell against the bad magic on the manor and a trap on the Nexus. Giles figured aloud as he watched the bars that had fallen around them.
Seven was getting comfortable in their little cell in the basement of the manor where Nexus lied and where Giles was convinced that any plan that Piper had would be hidden. But to their dismay the basement was as empty as it had always been and when they had arrived bars had appeared trapping them. Fortunately, for the three who had betrayed their friend and family, no one had yet come to check the rats that were caught.
As, the time ticked away, Seven was very aware of the fact that she had been on past earth for almost twenty four hours and even though Leo had healed her earlier in the afternoon, that had not done anything to her Borg anomalies that needed regeneration. She knew she didnt have much time but seeing that the three were more concerned about the world that they were convinced would be destroyed that very night, she decided not to voice her own problem.
Both Giles and Willow were loosing credibility in Sevens eyes fast as she realized that they were so emotional about the desperate actions they had resolved to, that their brains were not functioning in the optimal parameters. As, for Kaynard, it hadnt taken Seven long to realize that, he was just a pawn and though he complained about being on the sidelines when the time had come, he still refused to take a stand, as he rather just follow.
Fred is going to kill me if she even realizes that I am involved. Willow confessed to herself in a barely audible tone.
Fred doesnt know. Kaynard asked surprised that the red headed wican was actually doing this behind her girlfriends back.
I tried to tell her, but she and Jacque is so engrossed in finding B-Dimension that she doesnt even care about her own son or me, forget the world. Willow complained about her girlfriend whom she had been able to drag out of England but not out of her computer where she was stuck in the morning when Willow had left to save the world.
What is B-Dimension? Kaynard asked hearing the word for the first time.
B-Dimension stands for Breach of Dimension. It is believed that there exists a dimension where all the dimensional breach collides and at that dimension impossibility becomes possible because there is no universal law that governs all dimension. It is theoretically proven but never been found. It is also believed that such a breach can be closed. Seven answered reciting the information she had read in the Voyager database.
Wow, if you have heard it means, Fred did publish her results. Then she must have really got famous. Very famous and rich too. Willow was now worried about some other insecurity harnessed within her. Do you remember if she changed after she got all famous and rich? Because she could have? Did she leave me?
Seven was hearing Willows voice but her mind was busy computing the reality behind where she was.
B-Dimension exists. Seven said cutting Willows worries. This is B-Dimension. That is why magic exists. Impossibilities of physical laws are possible because of the dimensional breach.
Well, it is good to know that there actually is an explanation for magic. Kaynard sighed, as he saw no significance of the theory to their state at that moment.
The books and prophecies are true. This world is going to end. Seven ended her thought to the three pairs of eyes that opened wide at her conclusion.
Klignon ale was one kind of alcohol even her Slayer body could not take, yet she had finished half a bottle of it and once she had returned to her quarters, she had regretted each and every sip she had taken. Must be Belanna cursing me, Faith thought, as the ringing in her head got louder. Damn the ale must be really of 24th century if the ringing sounds like the door chime Faith thought as she tried to ignore the sound but then there it was again. She opened her eyes to realize that it actually was someone at the door.
She managed to get her head up as she commanded the door to open. At least in 24th century you didnt have to get up and walk to the door, or else who ever were ringing would have gotten a mouthful from the Slayer.
Seven. Faith said aloud seeing the tall lean figure of the ex-Borg walking through the door.
What are you doing here so late? Faith asked as she got up.
I wish to discuss a situation with you. Seven said as she approached Faiths bed.
Cant it wait? Faith asked as she held her head.
Yes, it can. But I wish to discuss it right now. Seven answered.
Ok fine what is it? Faith said as she sipped on water, the best counter for Klignon Ale.
Why did you sabotage my regeneration alcove? Seven asked.
What the hell is that? Faiths asked honestly as she didnt even know what Seven was referring to.
My regeneration alcove where my Borg anomalies recharge. It was sabotaged. I ran a diagnostics on it but found no error. But, because you said you possessed powers that defied the laws of physics, you are the only suspect capable of causing its malfunction. Seven said making perfect sense.
Yeah, but I have those powers only in B-Dimension. I told you in B-Dimension I possess the powers of all magical creatures that ever roamed on our world, but when out of the breach, I am as normal as any other, except for my immortality and Slayer body and strength. Faith corrected Seven.
How did you project your image while I was regenerating? Seven asked.
Well, if regenerating is anything like sleeping, may be you dreamt of me. Faith said grinning at the thought of Seven dreaming about her.
I do not dream. Seven replied.
Yeah, Seven you do not make mistakes, you do not dream. But, seems like you are doing a lot of things that you dont do. Faith pointed out as she stood right in front baiting the ex-Borg once more.
Somebody is at the Nexus. Piper suddenly said.
But you put a protection spell around the house. Faith questioned Pipers statement.
Yes, but it was against outsiders. Piper said and blew on an invisible power on her hand to reveal a 3-D screen right in front of them, that showed the four intruders trapped within the iron bars.
Giles and Willow. Faith stared unwilling to believe the image in front of her.
I should have known Kay could not be trusted especially when he voted against the family. Piper was lost in her own disbelief.
Who is that? Faith asked as she watched a stranger among her friends.
I think Kelly got her from the demonic alley last night. She said she was some kind of a reformed demon. Piper replied trying to recall the face.
She doesnt look like any demon I have seen. Faith moved closer to the screen as she concentrated on the face.
Her name is Anna, or Annika, something like that. Piper said remembering the name.
Oh! I remember now, I told Special-K to tag her with us, to make sure she wasnt one of those trying to save the world types. Faith said recalling her last conversation with her daughter.
Well, I guess she was those type. Piper reasoned. Something about her face looks so different.
That hand doesnt look demonic, it looks metallic. Faith observed.
Oh! God. She is the one from the book. The Book of Dark magic that predicted the one will arrive from the future. She must be from the future. Piper panicked as she remembered the prophecy.
Then why do I have a feeling that this morning was a trap and the Dark Lord knew about our attack? Faith said as the pieces of the puzzle started to make sense to her.
Well, she is from the Book of Dark Magic, and Dark Lord possesses the book so I would say its safe to say that she was the one who trapped us. Piper put words to what Faith had already reasoned.
Meet me at the manor. Faith said as she sprinted.
When the spear had pierced through Faith, everything else had gone dark, but her eyes were open. She had watched the Dark Lord squeeze the life of her Special-K. As her legs speeded, all she could think about was the face of her daughter laughing throughout the different stages of her growing up. Until this moment she could do nothing but cry as the Dark Lord was vanquished but now, she found an outlet for her revenge. There was a person she could make her pay for the deaths that she had to watch.
Faith no Piper protested but her Slayer was already too far-gone. She knew what Faith was thinking. Not, that Piper blamed her for it, but she knew she had to stop Faith. She just hoped she wouldnt be too late for it.
Control was what her Borg anomalies were for. It controlled her every function, physical and otherwise, so Seven had never experienced a one true moment in her life when the control was completely severed, and only her human part had taken over. Except for right then, when her body had already lost her bio-suit and was now was waiting for Faiths clothing to fall right next to hers. Even her metallic hand was now in complete control of her heart that was only human, with human want and desire eroding everything else she felt as she traced the naked skin of the Slayer.
Over the centuries Faith had seen many bare bodies of numerous species that she had used for fulfillment of physical lust and never once taken even a moment to think back at it. But, right then as she stared at the nearly perfect Seven of Nine, her mind, which usually took a hike, was as active as it had ever been. It was screaming at her to stop, for the sake of present, for the sake of past, for the sake for future, to just stop right there. But, regardless of what she had done in the past, and if the present could change the past, she didnt care anymore. She wanted that moment to happen. She craved that touch that was tracing her form, that look that was savoring her taste with her eyes. She didnt care anymore.
Faith stopped the hand that was religiously tracing her scar and brought it to her lips while, using her other hand to pull the blonde beauty closer. Seven kept her eyes glued to the Slayers lips, which was ravishing her finger one at a time. Putting one completely inside her mouth, then slowly taking it out, as she sucked them at the same time. Then licking it completely before moving on to the next one. After she reached the middle finger, Seven could not bare to watch it any more. She closed her eyes and allowed the sensation to completely soak inside her as she bit her lower lip to keep a control on her own desire to attack. Once Faith was finished, Seven finally breathed out the breath that she hadnt even realized she was holding back.
Faith found her self, taking in an almost synchronized breath as her leg moved between the legs of the taller beauty feeling her desire trailing almost to her inner calves of her knee caps. Before the Slayer could take advantage of her find, her mouth that had watered was captured by almost as watery lips of the blonde who was using her fascinatingly patented walk to push her towards her bed. Once their legs were both stopped by the edge of the bed, Seven broke the kiss and pushed the brunette with her index finger causing Faith to land on her back as the ex-Brog crawled on top, kissing as she made her way on top. Seven seductive moved around her lying body with her legs wrapping the Slayer right in between. As much as Faith loved the foreplay but all the kisses or touches had taken a back seat in Faiths mind as it remained focused on the taste that she had heated up between her legs that just a moment ago was wasted on her own thigh. I need to taste you right now. Faith managed to say out loud as she cupped the firm buttocks of the blue-eyed huntress and pulled her body to her mouth, making sure that her head was right between them, in clear view of only her prize. Once in perfect position to take her feast, Faith decided to first lick the overflowed juices that were still moist in the side of her thigh. Seven who was now kneeling with her legs apart on top of the brunette had to grab on to the wall just to keep her balance from falling right on the hungry mouth that was teasing her and making its way upwards to her core which was aching for an entry. After taking a full taste of what awaited, Faith pulled sex of the completely aroused Seven to her lips and at first just kissed it lightly as though it was a gift that she had wished for and she kissed it before she opened. Then dived in with a full thrust of her tongue inside the ex-Borg who almost screamed at contact but managed to only muffle as the thrust quickly changed into lapping then a little bites on her apex of her womanhood, then back to forceful thrusts that was making the woman press her body more and more inside the Slayers mouth as her lust, desire and want all melted and accumulated at the tip of Faiths tongue that dived in and out of her. Sevens body was weakening, her eyes were closed, her mouth was greeted shut and her hand was on the Slayers head riding her when her comm. beeped. Kathryn to Seven of Nine.
Both the women ceased as the reality jolted back. But Seven quickly spoke, Computer set the current location of Seven Of Nine as Cargo Bay 2, Regeneration Alcove. Then she looked down at the face that was smiling at the deceit that Seven just programmed the computer for. Continue or I shall assimilate your. Faith grinned harder as she complied even though she did wish to get assimilated by the Ex-Borg.
When they had heard the door open upstairs, even Giles heart stop beating scared of what was stomping its way downstairs. Willow was so scared that she closed her eyes, hoping that what ever was going to happen would not happen. Of course that did not stop Faith from storming in with eyes that was blazing fire.
You are the reason for everything. Faith screamed pointing to Seven who stood put on with her hand behind her back even though she was as shocked as the rest of them.
Faith tore the bars open and walked in keeping her finger pointing towards the blonde woman whose name she hadnt still cared to remember.
You are the reason Kelly is dead, Kate is dead. Phoebe, Tara and Paige are dead. Not to forget Ken who was barely a child. Faith yelled as she fisted her hand and punched. Seven simply took a step sideways making the Slayer miss.
You are wrong. I am not the cause for the demise at the Underworld. Seven replied.
Of course you are. Dark Lord knew of our ambuse and planned one of his own. You informed him. Faith outlined her reason as she made another go at hitting the ex-Borg whose reflexes managed to save her one more time.
I did no such action. Seven answered dodging Faiths physical blows but unable to dodge the look she was giving her.
You are fucking lying. Was all Faith said as her hand finally landed on Sevens face and her body flew to one of the side of the bars that prevented her momentum but got bent in the process.
I do not lie. Seven answered, even though she knew that there had been a time when she had.
A good time had passed after the two women had actually stop only due to exhaustion that had rendered their bodies to just fall and doze off. But having a Slayer body meant even the exhaustion faded away quickly and Faith found herself awake even though the ex-Borg who had claimed not to sleep was in deep slumber. Faith couldnt help but smile at the thought of what had transpired between the two not even an hour ago. The Slayer lied on her side as she watched the peaceful face of the woman next to her. Then the peaceful face changed, changed into the one that was turning blue gasping for air for survival. Faiths smile faded as she remembered the face of Annika that was struggling for life as she hands squeezed. Tears that hadnt found her eyes in centuries somehow erupted out as Faith remembered her action. Yes, she had told Guinan that even though she had started to like Seven, she didnt regret what she did. But, now things were changed, she regretted it. Yes, she regretted and even wished it wouldnt happen. She prayed it wouldnt happen as she nuzzled closer to her neck and sobbed.
Seven had put up a good fight but ultimately Slayers power did prevail, and Seven found herself lifting in air as her body weight hung on Faiths hand which were squeezing her life out. Sevens hand reflexively reached for Faiths face and pressed on. She could feel her Borg tubules in the process of coming out to assimilate the Slayer when the memory of their passionate night flashed. The night when she had awakened to find Faith crying on her neck apologizing under her breathe. At that moment she had assumed Faith was apologizing for destroying her relationship with Kathryn, but she had not understood why she needed to cry so hard for something that was her fault too. But , now she knew that Faith had cried for something else. She had cried for killing her. As soon as Seven made assessment, she removed her hand from Faiths face, and her human half took over her Borg survival reflexes. Seven eyes closed as the lack of oxygen stopped few vital organs that still required it.
I am so sorry.I am so sorry. Faith was still saying as her tears dried but the image of the beautiful blue eyes closing remained.
