This is my very first fanfic fanart! This is Kagome dressed up as Alice in Wonderland for Halloween :]. I got the idea from xbitternessx's Inuyasha Fanfic "Savvy" which can be found here at Media Miner.org.
It takes place in a seedy New York neighborhood at a bar/strip club called "Savvy". Kagome ends up living in the apartment above the club, next door to Inuyasha. Kagura is the owner, Inuyasha is a bartender/musician, Miroku is in Inuyasha's band, Kikyou is Inuyasha's junkie ex, Naraku her dealier, and Sango & Rin are strippers ^^;; lol. Kouga is Kagome's abusive ex who hunts her down from Tokya to NYC (T.T I'm still a Kouga fan). Eventually Kagome ends up working as a bar girl. It's extremely well written, and something about the dialouge is so.... adorable. Her made up characters are pretty realistic and interact well enough not to disturb the core characters.
Kagome is portrayed as extremely innocent, so having her dress up as Alice, the little girl who learned to grow up in the rabbit hole, was perfect! Plus I love the costume *wailes excitedly for the pinafore*
I did this simple cell style... I wanted to try something now AND get it done quickly. I know to jazz it up and make it more tonal would be cool, but I liked how it came out.
