I originally did this picture to be only Rukia holding the Ichigo bunny, but somehow it felt like there wasn't enough. Her expression is very out of character: much younger and sweeter. But I think that when it comes to bunnies, Rukia shows her extremely feminine side. It's silly and frivolous and that's probably why I find it so amusing. Ichigo merely indulges her when she gets all excited about Chappy, and it's really very cute.
Using this for the layout, I really wanted to do a couple instead of just her. I ended up drawing Ichigo totally in PS instead of sketching and then editing. I really like doing the hair on Ichigo and Rukia; I think next time I may try to style them more and mess around with their outfits like Tite Kubo does in the manga.
