True Friend

    THIS POEM IS ALSO DEDICATED TO MY BEST FRIEND...THIS IS HOW I FELT WHEN I WAS MAD AT HIM...  I LOVE HIM BUT HE GOT ME MAD.

    So I just wrote down exactly how I felt and the things I went through because of him.

I thought you were a true friend
But somewhere along the line
You ruined it with all
Your lies and broken promises.
Every time I forgave you and
Thought that maybe I could have
Trusted you once again.

And, yet you proved me wrong.
All of my friends told me to
Forget about you
To move on
And I defended you still.
Why couldn't you prove them wrong?
But, instead you made me look like an idiot.
Thinking you would change.
What a fool I was
But, thanks to you
It's harder for me to trust guys
I can't believe I thought you were a true friend.
